Tbh cant hate on the guy. His kids will always talk about the day their dad pulled them out of school early for a football game.

Except it wasn’t for a football game.

It was the day before a football game that he went on the internet and predicted Kentucky would win. They lost by 28.

I get creating memories but this ain’t it.

Alabama is now 40-2-1 against Kentucky all-time. They went 75 years between win number one and win number two. It has been 29 years since that last win.

The series has been a bit one sided.

No big deal, I mean kids out for deer season seems accepted.

As for Alabama vs Kentucky, why is it the Cats are never on Alabama's schedule when Alabama is down?

what's the big deal?

You do realize there have been multiple documented cases of homicides and domestic violence incidents in Alabama directly due to a Crimson Tide loss, right?

to hell with all y’all. That’s some good parenting right there.

I know a guy whose dad took him out of school in 97 to see Tim couch beat Bama and for this old fricker (like myself), its something he will never forget.

This is what SEC is all about about.
I took my kid out of school in 2013 for the Taylor Swift 22 concert. also the 2019 natty. She’s in graduate school now and still calls those the best nights of her life.

Stay loyal to your teams. Bring your kids. See what happens. Win or lose the game, you won’t ever lose in life.

The alternative is, “sorry, honey, I didn’t take you to the game because I thought we were gonna get our arse beat.” That’s not a very good story to tell at Christmas 2046.

you do it often enough, and you will eventually see something spectacular. nut up for your kids.

UK plays when Thomas, Bryant, Saban, etc are coach. They never seem to land on the schedule of the lesser Alabama coaches

Thoughts and prayers my bro

They really could have gotten us yesterday if the talent and stamina was there.

That crowd though was lit.

Good luck going forward

One of these is NOT like the other

Heck of a dad sits through Taylor Swift for his daughter.

When the Longhorns beat Arkansas in 69 for the national championship, my dad took me and my two sisters to the airport to greet the team on returning to Austin. We were 8-13 years old. We've never forgotten about that midnight ride and being with a couple of thousand screaming fans.

Your kids won't forget those fun times you spend with them.

Thanks, have a whole family wing in Alabama
1/3 Auburn
2/3 Tide

I just bring the booze and hope nobody goes to the hospital

The most vivd one was when Cats moved from Stoll Field to Commonwealth (maybe in the 70's or 80's) and Bear was at Alabama. I think UK was up by 2 touchdowns with like 2 minutes to go. Tide won by a TD or 2. May not have been exact, but it sure felt that way. Are you old enough to remember that game?

Trick is getting them to spend time with you when they get older.
