Has anyone seen the video from LSU student Kendall Danielle discussing her rape allegations? She has video of LSU police representatives victim blaming and urging her not to press charges. This after the suspect supposedly admitted in his Title IX hearing that he did it. We have lots of LSU fans here. What is the latest? Despite LSU urging her not to press charges she says she is/did.
The video of her explaining the situation is embedded in this story. Yesterday she posted a video on tiktok of the police officer cautioning her against pressing charges. How do you link or embed a TikTok video here? I watched it with someone else on their account, but when I try to link it and open it Tiktok says you have to sign in to view it.

I don't think anyone is going to be as invested as you in how LSUPD or the Title IX office handles a rape case.
Most of us are just here to talk sports. I'm sure you and AHM21 will keep us posted.

I'm not sure there needs to be an investigation really, seems the offender admitted to rape so he needs to be, at minimum, expelled from LSU and then thrown in jail.

I'm sure there is another side to this story, but we don't know it.
If he "admitted to rape," he should have been thrown out of school permanently and prosecuted by the DA. I'm guessing the didn't admit to rape, but again, we would need to see the transcript of the hearing.

There was, after the accused went to LSUPD. The TIX board reduced the punishment to probation on appeal which seems to indicate they had some doubts. The accuser was not happy with the result and here we are. The video of the BRPD officer indicates they had their doubts as well despite not having jurisdiction to investigate.

This has nothing to do with football and college rapes of course happen - however, there is a prevalence of women claiming rape after the fact these days, with no consequences.

I bet in light of his previous one month suspension for mishandling sexual assault/rape accusations current LSU AD Verge Ausberry is more invested in it than me. I bet in light of the DOJ seven figure settlement LSU paid to students for a previous sexual assault/rap scandal that LSU’s legal counsel is more invested in it than me. I bet the cop that is on video victim blaming and pushing back on filing criminal charges is more invested in it than me. I bet both the alleged victim and suspect are more invested in it than me.

This apparently involves an LSU football player who has been suspended from the team, but who has been allowed to return to the LSU campus. In light of LSU’s previous sanctions for program wide Title IX and assault/rape violations this is very much sports related.
