At the conclusion of the title IX process, which took a year, the player was found guilty but was allowed to return to campus while it was appealed. This led to the victim filing criminal charges despite LSU police advising against it. That is what can be gathered from the article and video linked.
It completely involves LSU.

There's nothing anyone here can say that will suddenly cause LSU to be accountable.
But I think LSU fans are absolutely going to call out a poster who is using a horrible situation like rape as a means to troll rivals on a sports board. You can defend that type of behavior if you'd like, it makes no difference to me. Trashy people are going to do trashy things. A tale as old as time.

That does not raise a criminal complaint unless the victim wants it to, which she never raised until last week (for the first time).
In fact, the football player went to the police first.
