The only school I recall seeing mentioned of getting P2P players was Louisville, right?

Obviously, this investigation is still in its infancy, so who knows what they will turn up.

It's not alleged. It's confirmed enough that he is in a holding cell awaiting a hearing.

Cam anyone else verify this?

Also, it wouldn't make sense for players to be paid to go TO Auburn, since they aren't Adidas.

Now.. Mississippi State on the other hand...

Not to come to Auburn.

Just to steer Auburn players to an agent.

Innocent until proven guilty.

But he is guilty.

I think the allegation about paying a recruit is tied to Louisville, but it is not a given that is where it stops.

Only if all the cash was coming from Adidas.

If cash originated with money managers to steer players toward them, then yeah, it could make sense, if it's a player with a possible pro future and the guy could get a return on his investment.

I kind of think they have him on tape saying this. Not sure from a snitch wearing a wire, or if his or someone else's phone was tapped.

Think they have records on all of these people.

Chuck was taking money to get players to leave Auburn. Louisville and Miami are the real recruiting stories.

Auburn gained no advantage, in fact Chucks actions hurt Auburn.

Roque assistant. We are still screwed, but not gang raped.

Louisville May get death penalty.

He was the coach at auburn and he gave players and their parents money

It isn't going to matter why he says he gave the money to the kids and parents to the NCAA

This happens all the time in football and basketball, everywhere. No one wants to admit it, but it does. Used to be big in college football until they actually started paying the assistant coaches a good salary

Key is yet. I'm in wait and see mode but this could be a lot worse. Right now Person was actively working against the program/athletic department's best interests

Remember this later.

Didn't you guys sign a huge deal with Adidas in 2015?

Just saying.

I was not commenting on whether it happens or not other places or in other sports.

I was talking about the documented allegations that led to the FBI arresting him, for doing this specifically with active players on Auburn's roster. He asked; I was explaining.
