Let's see what the NCAA does, but if I'm Dabo, I'm calling every kid at Ole Miss and tampering like a motherfricker has never tampered before. Just start showing up with suitcases of cash and buy their whole roster.

That’ll go about as far as the Ttown Menswear stuff went.

100 percent that's why they need to stop being quiet and get out ahead of this thing.

It's funny after all the crying y'all did about Lane "tampering" yet here you are doing the same thing.

Here is you Death penalty Ole Miss. ARE YOU READY??

Slaps wrist!

That was very naughty, Ole Miss. now apologize to Clemson for those Secondary violations against their sign stealing program.

Could be worse... were it Alabama.

That was very very naughty, Alabama. Here's 3 years of probation and a bowl ban for you, Mississippi State. Now, don't do that again, Alabama.

EVERYONE tampers in every sport. Always have always will. I don't think anything should happen to OM.

Yeah dabo covered that one. He said it's one thing to say, "If you change your mind gives us a call we could find a spot for you." It's another thing entirely to have the head coach text a guy a photo of a $2 million contact in his 8 am class and say, "I know you're signed. What's the buyout?" It's even another when the coaches call the other coaches and say "we know you've made contact, knock it off or we take copies of the text msgs to the NCAA" and they continue to make contact with the kid and his agent.

It's the sheer audacity of it all that should cause everyone pause.

As Dabo said, If the ncaa rolls over on this one, we don't have a governing body.

And as a die hard SC fan, I can't believe I'm backing Dabo on this one. Truly pains me, to do that, but if Ole miss gets away with this, it's the wild west. That's not good for anybody.

Then why should anyone obey ANY of their rules?

Generally I would agree, but and annoying as he is, Dabo commands a lot of respect in CFB. He provided to many details and an exact time line of the events. It's going to be very hard to ignore.

You realize they have no power in Oxford right now.

Which was probably why I'm watching Fox Weather and they are circling Oxford as being the area at highest risk of catastropic icing and then that's when Dabo decides to hold his huge presser.

If he'd had the goods, he would have waited. He's not stupid. It was just his attempt to get on top of the CFB media spin cycle after a year of irrelevance.

I hate dabo. Hope all the bad things in life for him but this time, my opinion, is the ncaa allow the transfer but suspend him for the year.

They don't. Haven't you been paying attention? Hell, Texas Tech was interviewed and their billionaire is publicly saying that Alabama and Auburn cannot spend enough to keep up.

LSU just spent North of $40M on next years class.

No, it isn't. You have kids signing contracts and then entering the transfer portal. Why do you think that is? Duke is suing their QB for doing so. Tampering is exhaustive everywhere and the courts will do nothing to stop any of it.

That is why you shouldn't bother to rank anything until after the spring football season. There will be another mass round of transfers

Not a Dabo fan, but I like the move. Hard to imagine a higher profile open and shut case if what Dabo says is true.

Force the NCAA to act or make it crystal clear that there is no such thing as tampering. At least rules (if any) may be clearer in the next cycle.

The NCAA will either be relevant or neutered forever after this one.
