What (Brian Kelly) has drawn is a lot of haters, but there's a difference between the garden variety haters and the nervous hater.

So what is the difference? How might one quantify this stupid shite? Drivel.

So you would trade Kelly for Orgeron(2-0 against Smart)?

It seems the nervous energy is ratcheting up as various fanbases desperately try to convince themselves that Kelly will suck.

Dear SEC, spread em.

Is Brian Kelly pointing a gun at the SEC threatening to kill them? Was hoping he has reformed himself after he murdered someone but I guess a Tiger don’t change it’s stripes.

LSU’s all time record is
823-427-47

Which is very good.

However that equates to a .653 winning average which means they are an 8-4 team with an occasional 7-5 record and then an 8-10 or more wins here and there.

So I don’t get any nervous energy about Kelly. I think he is a good coach who will do well at LSU and maybe even win a NC.

But historically they are an 8-4 program and that is likely what he will be as well.

Just like State is a 6-6 team historically that bumps up or down from that.

LSU is trending up.

LSU is 220-86 since the creation of the BCS. That's good for 71.8% win rate, and has pushed LSU to 11th in all time wins.

Context matters.

Les Miles was the last LSU coach to make me "Nervous". You never knew what that dingbat had up his sleeve.

That’s called recruiting, and it doesn’t seem to be a problem for ND’s new head coach. 15 commits inside the Top 250. Almost twice as many as LSU.

Let's see how long they stay eligible with ND academic standards
