Honestly I would rather we not be.
They have a possible 4-5- 1st round draft picks this year.
2 DL, 1 CB , 1 WR & 1 QB.
Loaded at DL & WR & major upgrade at DC.
The previous DC that CDS hired from within was a disaster.
Sometimes CDS goes the road less traveled and it bit him in the arse the last 2years on defense.
He has finally relented and joined the new world of college football.
They have 4 guys making over 1mil/year QB, WR & 2-DL.
Took 3 guys in the portal, DE , WR & LB - still need a punter though which sucks.
Looking forward to the season.

You were not bashing him when he had a top 5 recruiting class , or the 7th….. you chose to wait till we only took 18 players to do it how cute. Like last year we have almost 75 percent of our players who were underclassmen. If we win this year I suspect we will have little to no issue with recruiting it’s not going to be a top 5 class but it will be good enough . When he wins this year with a good qb will you come back and admit you’re wrong because OU fans have already seen his improvements he’s made with the team .

Also I am curious why am I he only person you target mem and not others? LSU giving Florida fans crap about their HC saying Sun Belt Billy or about Texas A&M going 8-4. What did I do to you to be the only target on here?

Bro is mad that Mizzou had their best season in their pathetic history in 2023, and they still lost to LSU, then had half their defensive coaching staff poached by us.

I know yall are new to the SEC, yall need to realize just because you got a 5* doesn’t mean they are plug and play starters. The SEC is a LOS league. Most teams have Jr and Sr across the D-Line who have played and been in an SEC for a few years. The strength is what kills true freshman on both sides of the ball. Hell, just look at what Will Campbell said on his first snap as a true freshman in college! BTW, he was a 5 star #1/#2 OT in the country coming out of HS and started all 3 years.

I don't mind Pate, but I'd love to see the logic behind some of these.
Clemson only made the playoffs last year due to winning a very weak ACC. What has he seen that makes him think they're on the path of being the best team in the country?

TAMU too high. We have talent, but there's nothing about last season that indicates that we're top-20 to start the season.
