Well, we’re giving a coach $50MM+ to NOT coach LSU. When you’re talking about that type of money what’s $1MM more really going to hurt? If you can afford $50MM+, what’s another $1MM really going to hurt? Get it right this time and you won’t have to spend $50MM to rid yourself of a problem!

Hire a committee. Use an outside firm with a few Louisiana ties and pay Saban $1MM to head the committee. He has knowledge of what it takes to buy into the culture as an outsider and has extensive knowledge of who can handle the new way of coaching CFB.

Neither will you! It’s people like you that we will waste money year over year into per pituitary dealing with coaches that don’t work. I do get it though. That’s the going rate and contract you have to give proven coaches. LSU must now realize we aren’t on the same playing field as pre NIL days. We don’t have the state of Louisiana to relay on without paying top dollar. We need “moneyball” solutions and our AD has absolutely no clue how to do that!

If you paid me $10MM a year I’d stay wherever no matter who hates me. At the end of the day I’m still counting my money win or lose. I could care less who hates me while I’m counting $10MM. I’m pretty sure BK feels the same way. Simply put if you gave me $10MM a year I’d cheer for whoever you asked me to. I wouldn’t have passion but I’d do it for the money!

No one is a “legit” contender for the job. Kelly isn’t getting fired. It would cost too much money. LSU will spend but they aren’t buying out a coach for $50-60MM. What would be left over to spend on the players? Even if we had Saban, if we can’t afford good players we aren’t winning anything.

I hate him and Ole Miss but I agree with your statement. He’s done a lot better than I would wish he would.

I don’t really like y’all but you’re spot on! Mizzou has confidence issues. They want to be accepted sooooo much that they conjure up fake rivalries with teams just so other fan bases know they exist.

BTW it reeks of a Mizzou fan.
