I am betting against A&M finishing the season at 14 or higher.

I don't mind the OU pick. They had a great defense last year and really only needed a better offense and to be healthy on offense even. They were better than their record and played one of the toughest schedules.

But they also play that same schedule next year. 10th doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

Clemson I plain and simple don't understand. They were over-ranked last year to even be in the top25 and they have been horrible in recruiting.

Florida and LSU above Georgia is a take also. Not sure I get that. Is he really high on Carson Beck or something because it seems like addition by subtraction to me. Since he has Miami right below them, it must be the Beck factor. The guy simply can not see the field, so I don't get that.

Florida does not deserve to be ranked that high. We were terrible to start last season. We are more likely to be 2-4 to start the season than 4-2 IMO.

Ewers being average cost you a NC last year IMO.

Completely agree. Such a frustrating season.

You are saying every team is just one injury away from being a 5 win team? That doesn’t sound right at all.

My issues with OU are that they don’t really fix the OL issues, didn’t really fix the WR issues and I am non-committal to the QB situation and the new offense.

I think the D is being oversold a bit and reading the tea leaves on the Spring reports it sounds like the walking wounded from the Fall are not looking like they are close to being what they were and have added a few new injuries this Spring.

Do I think they will be better than last years 6-7, sure. Do I think they are going to be 9-3 or better needed to get in the playoffs, I am not buying it

I think that's a good fair assessment. It's hard to predict a team in today's day and age.

Of the 5 teams with the most returning production last year, 4 had losing records and worse records than prior year, and the other was Iowa St.

Every year teams are bringing 30-50% of a new roster in and nobody knows how they gel until the season starts

Don't see Texas Tech there. We had like half our roster and handled them pretty well in the bowl game.

OU signed two 5 star O lineman this cycle on top of the 2 that redshirted last year. O line will be much improved as well as WR which their top 5 receivers were out last year and the best wr was a walk on white boy lol. Add the top OC available with the #1 RB and #1 QB in the portal to go with that defense and you can see why people are optimistic.

Florida at 9? I like Napier and thought he got things moving in the right direction the second half of last year, but 9? That seems... optimistic.

at the end of every season these people talk about not getting sucked into the texas a&m hype again, and then have completely forgotten four months later. goldfish

It'll be OSU and Georgia in NC game. Pate is a dunce and OU is at minimum a year away from any top ten talk. Everybody else in the top 10 is capable but not likely to make noise.

Ohio State lost a lot. Their schedule is weak of course so 10 games is easily obtainable but that QB was good. He was very experienced and a young get Josh Allen the way he threw and ran. Bama transfer Sayin is good I guess being that he was a 5 star but two years in the bench he will have some learning. Georgia is a similar one. I understand they have talent but it’s hard to replace their dozen draft picks. We saw what happens when they lose a the bowers of the world and now that they will have a new QB I don’t think they’ll be a lock for the NC. I look for two new teams to make it.
