heupel's UCF teams have declined in wins each season.

he was gifted an SEC OC job at mizzou from an old friend

also gifted a future nfl qb and future SEC td record breaker under another OC.

this motherfricker leaves mizzou before his bosses first bowl game as a HC - absolute low-character move. big win over texas creates great program momentum. he didn't care. he fricked over the guy who made it possible for him to get a HC job.

guy is a fat fricking gross slob. you can be fat and not a gross slob if it's more genetic. if you're supposed to be fat, okay. but this fricking guy is just gross. frick him.

I don’t know anything about Heupel’s character or personality, but I wouldn’t say the above makes him a bad person.

probably because you haven't watched enough John Wayne, Charles Bronson, Clint Eastwood movies.

you stick out your commitment under this scenario

a coordinator doesn't always have to stay for the bowl game

but when your career is bailed out by an old friend and he's a first time HC and playing in his first bowl game vs texas - you fricking stick around and see it through.

Imagine winning with Scott Frost's team and then declining one season after another.

I'm certain UCF will be ok with him leaving.

He's going to get raped in the SEC.

Thanks OP!

Why would Chadwell take a side step to go to UCF? He will wait for a P5 job.

Universities don’t take the view of “sticking to their commitment”. They fire coaches for mediocrity (6-7 wins, in Georgia’s case 9-10 with no nattys). After the termination , they do everything possible to avoid or sidestep the legal obligation to pay the buyout even though the coach didn’t necessarily “fail”. I have no problem with a coach jumping to a better job at any point. There are consequences in both ends , some are able and some not. I am sure, in retrospect , Skip Bertman regrets not matching or one upping Hyzenga for CNS.

Your obsession with Barry Odom is very weird.
