Funny, the number of top 10 teams that we beat this season was higher than our conference defensive ranking. Lol. RTWFU, our team has the best resume ever and it isn’t even close

and that's fine and well. LSU was a good team with a great offense, but the defense was in the lower half of the SEC so by no stretch of the imagination can it be considered in the greatest teams category.

LSU had the best offensive season of all time and it isn’t close. That offense led them to produce *arguably* the best season of all time based on AP top-10 victories. The fact that the defense wasn’t stellar at points doesn’t erase an argument for “best team of all time” on its own accord, it just gets factored in. LSU’s offense this year had the gravity of the Manhattan project in terms of blowing past what was considered to be *elite* offensive production. That weighs extremely heavily and I think the argument is there for best team ever despite some struggles of defense here and there.

Ok, and by your *genius* Alabama low-IQ redneck logic, there’s never been a team to hold a candle to LSU’s offensive accomplishments, so no other teams can be considered the greatest team of all time either because their offenses aren’t up to par.
See how your stupid, braindead logic is flawed now? Team accomplishments aren’t determined by stats on one side of the ball. If they were, then muh complete team Ohio State wouldn’t have lost to the team that we could’ve beaten by 4 touchdowns if we hadn’t given them a mercy knee.

I think Burrow had one of the best seasons I've ever seen but I don't think he's had the best career ever.

As far as seasons go, Burrow's 2019 is the greatest ever. It's not one of the best. It's the best. The records he broke playing in a big boy conference and winning a title isn't comparable to any other qb. Burrow is now the standard for greatness. No one will look at Joe and remember he only played two seasons at LSU. They will remember how his offense just crushed teams and he won a natty.

They're indeed one of the best teams of all time. You can't deny that. This was the best team I've ever seen in my lifetime for sure and it's really not even close. Just the confidence I had in this team the entire season, no matter what the stakes were or where the game was played and against whom...I always felt LSU would win the game and never got nervous even...they're just that good. Period. One of the best teams of all time without a doubt. Anyone arguing differently is just jealous and a hater. Geaux Fightin' Tigers!
