Brady's future is HC at a P5 program next year. Several programs have already inquired

I highly doubt any major program is going to come calling after only one year and he’d be stupid to take a lower program job. If he stayed at LSU for 5 or 6 years, learned all about running a big program, he will get his opportunity at another big program AND will then be equipped to handle it

I could see Coach O handing the reigns of the team to Brady and becoming AD at LSU.

I was with you til this.

Coach O won't be an AD... ever. Plus, we have a great AD and this is his first year. Brady will be our OC for 3-4 years then be a head coach at some Group of 5 school for a few years before becoming a Power 5 coach. The dude is like 28 years old. It'll be a while before he's a head coach at a top program.

Not even worried if brady leaves Steve E. ready to take over and kick the offense up another notch

It's a matter of going after these younger guys who know what the next stage of the game is going to and handing over the reigns, not just hiring them and then handcuffing them. At this point Brady is basically a Co-OC in the booth with Ensminger, and they arent holding him back at all. 1 thing that's very tough for many older coaches set in their ways is to admit their way isn't the best and learn from someone younger.

I was about to say - Ensminger deserves a TON of credit. He's clearly been totally accepting of Brady coming in and bringing a new scheme, learned it, processed it and been fine kind of being the overseer and teacher of how logistically everything works with Brady.

That's impressive as hell, because Ensminger has been a respected college coach for a long time. He easily could have been like eh frick that or just not been accommodating.

Like I said, Woodward is working furiously behind the scenes, but several P5 programs are already inquiring. My information is from someone close to Woodward

Enjoy him Cajuns. He gone next year.

Nobody is inquiring about hiring a 29 year old as a head coach who has spent 6 games in college as an assistant thus far. He wasnt even a position coach or coordinator for the saints, one of those "assistants" to them.

Hey, I have high contacts at LSU.. They don't know what I think of them or their pathetic school, but that is because I know how to play the game. Same can be said for a few other schools

They don't even know I root for A&M, because it isn't hard to pull the wool over the eyes of an LSU graduate. Even "boosters"

You don't think this is a possibility 3 or 4 years down the line when Brady's shoes become too big for the OC/passing game coordinator role?

Yes that

O to AD no.

Kirby would lose his mind over Brady’s offense just like Les would’ve. Harbough is too dumb to realize the difference

If by "major", the poster means a Houston/Louisville/USF level job, I could see it. Some program at that level might try to catch lightning in a bottle.
He's years away from an SEC or B1G HC job.

He’s been a position coach/passing game coordinator for less than a single year in his entire career. He was a GA and NFL equivalent of a GA prior to this position. Any P5 school that looks at that resume, despite the success of LSU’s offense this year, and thinks he’s ready to run an entire program is out of their mind.

It wouldn't do Kirby any good if he did have him. He would just order him to hand the ball off and run right in the middle of a 9 man front. In Georgia's case it ain't the indians that's the problem, it's the chief

Because he brought LSU's offense out of the Stone Age. That's impressive given how inept LSU's offense has been the last decade or so. I mean, ZERO points against Bama

We stole Scott Woodward from Texas A&M. We're good at AD. Cookie Monster needs to stick coaching the rest of the football team and staying out of the offense.
