Not in Orleans Parish itself.

I enjoy living in Metairie, and Old Metairie is nice.

Maybe I should have said we're losing out on the big plays we used to hit, because we're just OK with fair catching everything in the return game

thats fine, but we only his 1-2 of those plays a year.

and we actually had a punt return for a TD this year.

I think we're losing the special teams phase, regularly.

We aren't losing ST.

KO- we force more touch backs than anyone.
Punts- with a few exceptions we are a good punting team. Freaky play with Waddle and a few shanks here and there otherwise were solid here
FG- mostly good.

Realistically we aren't looking to return most punts or kickoffs. That doesn't mean were losing, its more of a push.
he has a lot of video from USCe game. And they seem to be playing a ton of zone.
We could definitely block better on punts, but i don't think anyone is too worried about Kick Offs.

Securing the ball is the most important thing with this offense.
Keeping Les because he would have had to hire Jimbo is a terrible move.

As far as the Orgeron hire goes, are we blaming Alleva for forcing O to hire Canada and allowing him to hire E and a septuagenarian to build a modern spread offense?

Tigernet is 60% troll threads and 40% "Poor Lil Ole Clempsum" threads

There are like 3 LSU posters so idk who they are trolling.

The Offense in Domes this season

Posted by Todd O'Connor on 1/9/20 at 11:56 am
Averaging 586.5 YPG and 50 PPG against top 4 opponents.

I don't think the Superdome is going to replace the turf with a a mud field like the Auburn game not matter how nice Poor Lil' Ole' Clempsum asks
ESPN is saying we take a 21.3 Million dollar dead space hit if he walks.

quote:

Like Brady, Brees' contract will void after the season, with the Saints on the hook for $21.3 million in dead money on their 2020 cap. If Brees isn't on the roster by the first day of the new league year, the Saints will eat that penalty for years of saving money on his deal. (The figure above is calculated with that $21.3 million on the books.)

Gonna be hard to start the bidding under that unless Drew REALLY wants a championship.

realistically, letting Drew walk closes a window. How long it would take to open another depends on what we get at QB play.
quote:

He has elite talent around him. Everyone is open at LSU. Everyone is not open for Cincinnati.

He has thrown 24 touchdowns into what PFF calls "tight windows"

that is 10 more than anyone else in the country.

So get fricked Buddy. Bring your weak the frick troll shite somewhere else.

There is no QB who is good in a bad system

There are lots of QBs who still aren't good in a good system

There are 0 QBS this good in any college system.

We still aren't great at protecting him. We are in the 90s in sacks allows. But good thing our system allows him to scramble like he did against UGA.

Going on what we now know I think the only defensible ranking would be:

1) Mahomes
2) Watson
3) Burrow
4) Trubisky

Mahomes and Watson have shown they are franchise quarterbacks in the NFL. Two years from now perhaps the ranking will be different.

I mean i think this is based off of what we knew in their college careers.
quote:

I still don't understand how teams missed on Watson, he was a great QB on a great team. I can forgive taking Trubisky over Mahomes because they both played on average teams in college and nobody predicted Mahomes would blow up like he has, but how did the Bears take Mitch over Watson?

I never understood the infatuation with Mitch.

1 semi decent year. Its not like he blew the doors off. 30 TDs is good not insane.

He doesn't have the biggest arm I've ever seen (not bigger than Mahomes)

He didn't come from some kind of NFL feeder system. Larry Fedora isn't pumping out NFL QBs.

Didn't win anything. Went 8-5.

Mahomes at least had athleticism and a huge arm. His on the field game reminded me of a Bigger JFF, who wasn't going to crash and burn off the field.
quote:

joe Brady and the rest of his offense isn’t going with him.

OK... You don't think maybe NFL offenses and players are good too? the NFL is taking more and more and more from college offenses.

What about Joe Burrow as a prospect don't you like?

quote:

What makes you think he’ll be a success?

High Football IQ
Accuracy
Durability
Reads Defenses extremely well
Can make all the throws.
Uncanny ability to feel pressure in the pocket
Poise
Can throw over the middle
can throw with good anticipation
can throw when is isn't in rhythm
Is good reading blitzed
Is good under pressure.

Those things are useful in every offense.

quote:

That kind of guy can win a Super Bowl, but he’s not the catalyst for a long term contending team.

He is most definitely the kind of guy who elevates those around him. I like him in that Sean McVay Coaching tree system. It does a lot of what we do.

quote:

Y’all are setting yourselves up for failure with this Burrow hype/worship. This is worse than Auburn fans and Cam.

I mean i am always going to root for the guy barring some horrible off the field thing.

I also think if you put him in a good system he will flurish and he will sink in a bad one.

What about his game to you think wont translate?
Some royals no longer want to leach off the British taxpayer and people seem really upset about it.
Its all about relatively

A good conference fives you a frame of reference.

There isn't enough conference play before bowl season to measure most teams. You never know if a conference is just garbage.

Watching Clemson play was like looking at a picture of a fish on a blank background. Without something there how is anyone supposed to know how big that fish is.
We offered him late, and then Clemson offered him later and he chose clemson

You could argue that he felt slighted because of Cam Akers

But really you know who was slighted?
