That was at sorry arse FSU. You think that counts?

Umm, why would it not? FSU was top to bottom Jimbo's program, stacked with top 5 nationally ranked recruiting classes virtually every year.

And if we're being honest, if you think FSU is "sorry arse" then you don't wanna know what A&M is.

Jimbo has got to be the least scary "elite" coach in college football history

Why do Aggy coaches refuse to wear maroon?

Is it simply a stain that cannot be removed..?

Everyone knows it's incredible difficult to win at Florida State compared to Texas A&M. Just look at the last 30 years of histories.

Oh, wait. shite.

remember the FSU that a senile, adult diaper, life alert wearing, pearly gate looking mother fricker bobby bowden left jimbo? that was a 10 game winning machine just destroying the ACC and the rest of college football

Damn, never knew a former coach could still hamper a guy in years 6-8 of his tenure (25-12, 14-10). Averaging a nice little 8-4 (5-3) record is basically what got Sumlin fired, isn't it?

Jimbo w/ Jameis
2 seasons
27-1 (96%) (12-0 avg)
16-0 ACC (100%) (8-0 avg)
2 ACC Titles
2 BCS/Playoff
1 National Title

Jimbo w/o Jameis
6 seasons
56-22 (72%) (9-3 avg)
32-17 (65%) (5-3 avg)
1 ACC Title
1 BCS/Playoff
0 National Titles

A&M got one of those Jameis' layin around campus somewhere? Maybe a walk on named Mohnny Janziel?

FSU has to face powerhouses like Clemson, Miami, and Lousiville. They're way behind in facilities and take a huge back seat to UF, UCF, and Miami in recruiting the state without Jimbo's presence. In general, it was nothing short of a miracle that way Jimbo built FSU up.

damn. i never knew that a coach inheriting a 7 win program and turning it into one of the three or four most dominant programs of the decade was sumlin like. but you learn something new everyday on here
