That’s supposedly the prevailing thought inside the coaching community.

Question for A&M fans: What changes in football schematics do you want to see? What are your biggest personnel struggles right now?

Side notes:

A&M certainly has the money for the buyout, and will be paying their next coach a shite ton of money anyway. It could be a nice fit. Recruiting would be easy, and they could put together a nice staff.

And this place would melt to the ground. I kinda want to see it.

FSU would be making a big mistake but does seem like he could use a change of scenery

Isn't Fisher's buyout like twenty million dollars?

I'll believe it when it happens.

But I hope it does. 5 straight ten win seasons, 3 conference titles, a national title. It would be awesome. But I don't believe it.

No. He just owes the remaining contracts for his assistant coaches if they aren't retained. (Reportedly around $7 million. That’s that figure that an FSU mod gave in an interview with an A&M site.)!
Interview with FSU mod bud Elliott

(If FSU wanted to fire him, they'd owe him $40 million. The LSU stuff last year got him a very sweet deal from FSU.)

He’s got a shite ton left on his contract, but I think his buyout is less than $10Mil

If FSU wants him gone I’m sure they’d waive any fees for Jimbo leaving.

Can't imagine Jimbo wanting to be at a cow college like A&M.

Yeah he's terrible. I'd much rather hire Bert Bielema

That’s a great point. Both sides mutually agree to part ways, Jimbo lands a high paying gig, TAMU and FSU both avoid paying a buyout, etc. Everybody wins.

That’ll be interesting to follow.

That’s the word. I am not sure FSU will hold him to the buyout. There is a want on both sides for a break.

You'll be able to pick him up cheap here in a few weeks if you'd like.

Jimbo seems to have enjoyed his time at the cow college down in Auburn. I think he’d enjoy being at a richer cow college with much better recruiting resources and academic prestige.

I guess I would be okay with Jimbo. We could do a lot worse.

I want to see less spread on offense (though not full ground and pound) and in general more physical play up front on both sides of the ball. I think Jimbo's offense is a good merger of what is being run in Texas HS play and what you need to win in the SEC. I've always been a fan of it

I don't know how much stock to put into this year, I haven't seen a lot of FSU outside week 1 when they actually looked pretty good until Francois went down. And I still don't know how realistic this is and if Jimbo is ready for a change of scenery after this year. Supposedly our AD and him are very familiar from their time at LSU together

There's no way Jimbo downgrades. Maybe the FSU job has gotten to big for him in his later years.
