He recruits a team full of dipshits down there in Florida despite being in one of the most fertile recruiting areas in the country.
Having strong academic standards at Aggy will not save you guys from the inevitable character issues that will come with a coach like Jimbo Fisher. He is a total dipshit.
I think it's awesome your admin is considering him. It's the most Aggy hire that could possibly happen.
Like hiring the last guy who was a raging alcoholic because you guys were trying to clean up your nerdly reputation. Go get the guy with "swagger". Lol. That "swagger" was the frickin booze.
You guys do you. You always have and it's about the only thing that keeps the potential Aggy juggernaut in check. Bad decisions.

Not going to happen. He just used LSU to get an extension and raise. Now his team is tanking.

pretty sure he did that dog and pony show last year. Can't see it working again.

That would be very interesting

TAMU has better football facilities, more money, better academics, nicer & substantially larger stadium, much larger fan base, and is in a better conference.
FSU has accomplished a miracle for what they have to show for it and as little time as they did.

depends on their new coach, if they dont hit it out of the park, I'd say this is A&M's favor as well

Idk man. I don’t think FSU will be looking to give him another raise after the shite show this season turned into. His team quit on him, he got into it with a fan, etc. He got a raise and contract extension last year, and is already making over $5mil.

I think this talk is all Jimmy Sexton smoke and mirrors.

But the LSU melt would be excellent if true.

This is laughable. When did UT and A&M dominate at the same time for 10+ years and play several top 5 type matchups years in a row like UF ane FSU did? Never.
Reason is talent. Florida > Texas. Stop drinking the cool aid.

I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't exactly why those idiots are considering hiring him -- because LSU wanted him.
Their priorities are totally out of whack down there.

Texas has enough D1 talent in state to outfit an entire Power 5 conference. The University of Oklahoma has 40 players from Texas on their roster alone. Plus teams like LSU who frequently pull several top players from the state. Recruiting is a push, and that’s being generous to FSU. Someone who can go into the state of Texas and recruit at an elite level will put themselves in national contention every year.

If Jimbo winds up in College Station, there will be a lot of angry LSU fans

Debatable as it hasn’t really happened in recent times. OU and UT had runs but nowhere what we’ve seen from Florida schools. Miami, FSU and UF.
Regardless there is something strange here as Sumlin is still employed. I doubt there is much truth at this point. Can’t believe A&M would act this crappy.

How many NC Championships have Florida schools won since say 1980? Around 10? How many Texas schools? 1? Joke is on you.

That has been the prevailing thought since UCLA. I'm starting to believe it is possible, and we could finally recruit and look like an SEC team. Just maybe it will happen?

Would be glorious to see yall get the runaround by Fisher after LSU did last year
