If FSU wants him gone I’m sure they’d waive any fees for Jimbo leaving.
Nope. That's not good business sense and sets a bad precedent. They may reduce somewhat (doubtful), but they'll certainly not waive.

Can't imagine Jimbo wanting to be at a cow college like A&M.
There is not a more cosmopolitan or erudite city in the United State than College Station.

I am sure they won't totally waive it but us paying his buyout won't be what prevents it from happening. If he's our top choice as has been reported and he wants to leave we will get him. I still don't think he will actually leave

There's no way Jimbo downgrades. Maybe the FSU job has gotten to big for him in his later years.
I don’t think it’s a downgrade, actually. TAMU has better football facilities, more money, better academics, nicer & substantially larger stadium, much larger fan base, and is in a better conference. Recruiting is a push. He won’t have a problem recruiting in Texas.

That is going to piss a lot of people off.

I hope you guys do hire him. Someone's gotta pick up LSUs slack in regards to giving up on the entire season after losing to Bama.

Arkansas poster trolling is on the same decline curve as their football program. I miss the old days

I don’t see why... none of it is arguable.

i love jimbo but i'd tell him to take a hike if he insisted on bringing charles kelly and company along.

I'm not trolling. I seriously don't think Fisher is as good as he is made out to be.
But by all means, you guys go beat off in the corner to the thought of having a QB who wins a Heisman, gets busted stealing crab legs, and is a general douchebag.
Oh wait, that's Aggy's recent history in a nutshell.
I change my mind. Fisher is a perfect fit down there in weirdo-town

Despite all the things you listed you are still at a little brother school that is a cow college with some of the most bizarre and insecure 'traditions' known to college football along with very few actual winning tradition. I wouldn't be an Aggie for 15 million a year.

I'll respond to this and disregard the rest since you are legit awful at trolling
I don't think he's an elite coach or program savior by any means. Our fan base is pretty split on it and I understand why. I think we could do much worse, and I think the odds of him taking us to somewhat Richt level UGA where we win 9-11 games a lot is pretty good (except without the division championships because Saban).
I'll take that at this point over what we have, or over some up and comer who might be a bad coach. And there's the hope we break through one year or Saban actually quits soon. Jimbo has been around awhile but he's only 52 and younger than Sumlin

I haven’t been keeping up with any of it there. It might be discussed there, but that’s not where it came from.
