The NCAA/SEC created a huge loophole in their regulations by allowing Cam Newton to use the 'I didn't know what was going on" excuse. If reports are true, then Manziel can simply say "hey, I didn't know my friend was pimping my signature...I was so busy with football I just told him to let me know where to be and what to sign. Hell I didn't need the money."

The loop hole was already there. not created. They closed it after the Cam Newton case.
that said, I REALLY hope he's eligible.
