Not scheduling UGA to College Station must be a big joke in the league office. No other explanation.
And A&M to Kentucky. I want my Keeneland + A&M/UK tailgating weekend. Im starting to doubt its ever going to happen.

I can’t wait for A&M fans have a chance to meet me.

Does ATM have some nice hotels to stay at?
That's really a question of budget, there are quite a few options and some nice places for sure but they are 2 night minimum and jacked up for big game weekends of course. Not as bad as it used to be but plenty of options if you plan ahead. Worst case it's only a little over an over to IAH so there are a gazillion options in between.
There is actually a lot in common between Athens and BCS with BCS being a slightly larger metro and they are about the same distance from ATL. Athens is nicer imo but the towns have a lot more in common than most will admit.

Really good barbeque, steakhouses, and texmex restaurants.

Why you hate Aggie that much?
They've already been through enough.

College Station has been a bucket list trip for me for a long time. The Applebees has a 4.2 on Yelp and eastern European communist bloc architecture has always been one of my favorites.

Be sure to check out our capstone masterpiece of bloc architecture while on campus. Its called the Blocker building. And its official acronym is "BLOC".
Because it has the headquarters for the college of education, it was always full of pretty young ladies.
We called it the T&A building.

I spent almost a week in College Station getting some equipment calibrated at the Transportation Institute and while I didn't really get to go out on the town much it seemed okay. It's certainly big enough for several hotels and motels to be there.
Where we were getting the work done was this huge aircraft hanger with big arse wooden doors, it definitely looked like something from the cold war, if not WWII

I can see why. UGA is full of it!

That’s Harrington and Harrington Tower, not Blocker.

When I was a freshman, half the professors in the college education had their offices in the T&A building.
My Psych classes were in Harrington.
My SCOM professor (at the time, in the College of Liberal arts) had her office on the second floor of T&A, but taught in the Academic Buikding.
I think it was my sophomore year, when the T&A building became the headquarters of the college of business, and much of the liberal arts stuff moved out.

Calling it a shite hole just shows you don’t know what you’re talking about. Not really worth addressing beyond that.
Middle of nowhere?
It’s smack in the middle of the Texas Triangle (Houston, Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio–Austin)—basically equidistant from three of the ten largest cities in the country.
On an average day it’s a Houston suburb.
“Middle of nowhere” doesn’t apply when you’ve got 2.5 million people in the metro area you share with Bryan.

However, as someone who travels to a lot of out of town games, one thing that I look for is hotels either within walking distance of the stadium, or within walking distance of restaurants and bars. On that score, the options are more limited. There is an on campus hotel directly across from the stadium. There are two hotels close enough to walk to Northgate, and with some restaurants located nearby (The George and Cavalry Court). Beyond that, you're going to need a car.
College Station is a nice suburban style town, but not a tourist mecca.

we did it at Georgia, and got screwed by the SEC refs in our erstwhile game-winning drive. I don't GAF who we play anymore.
