The point is Cavanaugh pointed out that the NCAA doesn't deserve special treatment when they absolutely do

Dare I ask you to present a better case than the NCAA and its team of lawyers have failed to produce?

Baseball's exemption should be ripped to shreds.

Of course it should. But it won't be now, because the wrong side is pushing for it.

Baseball's Antitrust exemption is next target for culture wars

Are you saying you think the NCAA is competent?

Are you saying an incompetent business organization deserves an exemption from the law?

Would it kill them to declare the NCAA exempt from Anti-trust laws just like baseball?

The SCOTUS has no power to do this.

Anything of that sort has to come from Congress. Congress makes the laws, not the SCOTUS.

They can kick the case back and say this is for the Congress to decide. They legislate form the bench all the time and have tons of wiggle room. They step outside of their boundaries constantly.

The case was not about the NCAA being exempted from Antitrust laws. There's nothing for them to "kick back to Congress".

You have a lack of understanding on how the federal government operates in this country. I suggest opening a book or two.

The fact that so many posters here are melting over a unanimous decision by one of the most legally conservative supreme courts in a long time shows how out of touch with reality so many of you are.

If you are being literal, I never addressed your initial question, counselor. Maybe philosophically or figuratively, but not literally.

Less wordsmithing, more defending your otherwise erroneous position, counselor.
