It's obvious that Georgia really laid an egg in the SEC CG

and is ultimately responsible for ALL of the CFP controversy this season. Tonight's game should have been a semi and Georgia should have played the winner after dispatching FL ST. Alabama was playing on fairy dust that ran out in Pasadena.

I have honestly hated the SEC championship game since the playoffs started.

Maybe UGA was not as good as advertised all year. When they met a team with equal talent they showed who they truly were.....a top 5 team and that's it.

SECCG needs to be ended now that 12 team playoffs are here. If the SEC cared more about the teams than they did money they would see this.

I think Kirby is great but he blew it here. He should have been jumping up and down and screaming at the top of his lungs.

Hell, if the SEC gets much bigger, there will need to be an SEC playoff. I'm not for such things but give it a few years of teams getting left out of the SEC Championship Game and I could definitely hear the noise.

Maybe but they couldn’t beat Alabama. And Alabama with competent QB play would have beat them by more than three.
