You got kids committing to SEC schools and leading them in yardage, then leaving said school for another school that lost to their previous one.
It’s not about winning anymore at all. It’s all about the NFL.
If you find a player with true heart in college football you have officially found a diamond in the rough.
Imo guys like Stetson Bennett and Will Anderson are legends because of their love of the game not just making a dollar.

You better prey the SEC remains the leader in NFL talent, that’s how the conference stays on top, then again, the closet big boy conference is the Big 10

Last year a ton of these transfer dude did not find a home, many had to take a place on a roster at a university no one ever heard of.
Now that was LAST year. The number of guys who have entered the portal this year is more than TWICE as many as last year. There are simply nowhere near enough spots open for them to land. Gonna be a lot of guys pissed off.

Stetson just won a NC and his QBR for 2021 was only .9% behind Heisman winner, Bryce Young. Stetson dreamed of being the QB at UGA since he was a small child. His dad built him a small football field beside his pharmacy and started a league to help Stetson pursue his dream.

I mean both things are true. Just because Stetson wouldn't be the starting QB at Bama doesn't mean he doesn't love college football and love UGA. That said, even though it was a bit melodramatic I'm at least happy to see a UGA fan taking up for Stetson unlike the rest who shite on him constantly, many even after winning a title.

We've had players transfer to almost every divisional rival. It's like they don't really care which team they play for anymore.

It is really bizarre. But it’s just a job to the players. Most don’t care very much if they win a game or championship, just like most at a company don’t care about its success or failures. They just want their check or their stage so they can get a check.
It’s still fun to watch, it doesn’t make them bad people and it isn’t wrong. Guys like Will Anderson and Jordan Davis are rare but no better than the others, just more like the guys we saw more of in the past.

There is a massive difference in the Big 10 talent and the SEC talent, and it is just getting larger

I think it is ruining college football.
The SEC has to step in and restore some basic rules
1. Cannot transfer within conference without approval
2. Have to sit out a year unless certain circumstances are present such as a hardship or coaching change.
The NFL has free agency but there are contracts. You cannot just jump when you want, you have to become a free agent, cut, etc. This is a free for all

While true, he is a great example of somebody who loves the game and his school, wouldn't you say? that's what the OP is saying unless I am misunderstanding.
And I would argue he is good enough to start at a ton of other schools. All? No. There isn't a QB out there that can definitively say they could start at all other schools. Ok. maybe 1 could say that.
