Given that UT is still on probation for all of the Level 1 violations that occurred under Pruitt, I don’t think the NCAA will be able to just give them a slap on the wrist if there was more wrongdoing. Also, if there was wrongdoing of the type that is rumored to have occurred, that would be two consecutive coaching staffs that have committed major violations.

Well, again it’s rumors, but there is at least some discussion around violations during the recruiting of Nico. Typically the main two violations that come during recruitment of a player are impermissible benefits or impermissible contact.
