Y'all blow this so out of proportion you don't realize there are at least 5 other venues just in the SEC that provides an experience that is so similar that it makes Tiger Stadium just the next one in the SEC.
Y'all need to get out more

Death Valley is universally regarding as a top 3, if not the hardest place to play in college football. And almost every college football fan has Death Valley on their bucket list to attend a game at least once.
Very few college football fans have Vaught-Hemmingway High School Stadium on their bucket list.
I agree there are a lot of good atmospheres in the SEC. Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee. Tiger Stadium is above them but not by much, I agree they are all good.
But Ole Miss isn't one of those schools now are they? The atmosphere at Ole Miss simply can not compare to the atmosphere at LSU.

Clemson went 7-6 last year.
Don't be fooled by the result of a meaningless early-season nonconference matchup in which the Clemson players completely checked out, rather focus on the next 11 games Dabo's elite units will obliterate.
Last night's game will go down as LSU's best game of 2026 (think about THAT for second!).
Don't worry about Laney, his tigers will NOT face Georgia OR Oklahoma. That schedule of theirs is a walk in the park.

I for one don’t think it was a possibility - Even if AD wanted to do it - no way in hell fan base would have accepted it - shite, if roles were reversed - would we? Plus if he was going with Pete, or had that as a possibility - have to turn it over to him for confidence, buy in from all and so on.
Let Kiffin coach post lsu hire and you are admitting lsu is a better gig. No - absolutely could not do it.

100%. Ole Miss's hubris and arrogance could have very well cost them a National Title. And they are too dense to realize that.
They’re just coping and in denial.
Too big a pill to swallow lol.

LSU is a better gig, in every way. LSU has won 3 National Titles and 8 SEC Titles since the last time Ole Miss won anything of note. LSU also has 3 Heisman Trophies, Ole Miss has none. Never mind we lead the series 64 - 43 - 4.
LSU is the better program than Ole Miss by every metric and it's not even close.
All Ole Miss did was take themselves out of any possibility of winning a National Title. And when you're a school like Ole Miss and you have that once in a lifetime chance to win a National Title, you swallow your pride.

He’s not getting fired because he didn’t allow LSU’s head coach to coach us in the playoffs and recruit our best players to go with him.

That’s fine and a reasonable position to take. So quit saying he quit on the team and decided not to coach a playoff team. Your school didn’t allow it to happen.

That's the difference between a real AD and a weak AD. A real AD does what's best for the program, even if the fans disagree and can't see it. The fan base doesn't have to accept it, they don't get a direct say.
They don't like it, they can stay home. Yet I imagine they wouldn't have if Ole Miss had won the National Title, which they had a genuine chance to under Kiffin last year.

You should tell all this to the talking heads who consistently put Tiger Stadium at the top.

Ole Miss has never taken the steps necessary to get there. They don’t have the will, the tradition or the money. It’s why Tubs left. It’s why Kiffin left. It’s why everyone leaves them. I hope Al is a complete dumpster fire this year and they are left in a pile of sniveling, tier 2 shite.

Kiffin's eventually been hated by the fanbase of every program he's program he's coached. LSU fans will be no exception?
Posted on 9/6/26 at 12:08 pm to TheLSUDynasty
Kiffin lost to Kirby, same year. Same team.

Considering no two Football schools are more alike then UF and LSU..I agree. LSU is premier
