It took Kiffin one game to show why Ole Miss is a stepping stone and LSU is premier

I know you are trolling, but without trolling or trying to even be a dick, last night was something Oxford just can’t produce. The atmosphere, electricity, media/celebrity, etc.

My initial instinct is to not pour it on OM fans
But until they fire Keith Carter’s petty arse, idgaf

The best thing I have heard was this twitter quote
quote:
@TimmyKal12: "It's crazy how Clemson isn't even close to LSU's weight class. Like galaxies away. And they put this whole team together in like 10 minutes."

Poor Gators got rejected too.

Why y’all think that was remotely a possibility is still beyond me

After the way OM fans acted in the offseason, all of us LSU fans have every right to be pouring it on OM fans all day every day this season.

Serious question. Do you really think not being on the sideline hurt Kiffin's ability to recruit any players he wanted?
Kiffin would've been focused on the game, not spending game time to walk around the sideline and have conversations with players about LSU.
I know Ole Miss fans still want to live in the segregated south of the 1960s, but we're well past that. And players now have these things called smartphones, like iPhone's and Android's, where coaches can easily contact players and their families.
You might want to look into it. Wonderful technology.

Foolish mistake.
Ole Miss would have won the national championship with Kiffin. Who cares what happens after that. Instead they didn’t, will never come close again, and a drunk is going to DUI the program into the abyss.

I know you're like 13 but if you think Kiffin could effectively coach the playoffs while simultaneously building a new team at LSU then you're a dumb 13 year old.
Kiffin himself admitted that he wish he didn't push to coach the playoffs so hard in retrospect.

100%. Ole Miss's hubris and arrogance could have very well cost them a National Title. And they are too dense to realize that.
Once Golding puts Ole Miss back into Miss State territory and being a 4 - 8, 5 - 7, 6 - 6 type team, Ole Miss fans will realize how bad of a mistake they made.

Kiffin wouldn’t be able to put his full attention on coaching and game planning because he would have been recruiting and building his staff for LSU.
In situations like that, you want your head coach to be 100% focussed on your team and your next opponent

Clemson went 7-6 last year.

A Kiffin lead Ole Miss beats UGA by 14 in the Sugar Bowl.
Ole Miss played better in that game than in Athens. Kiffin knows how to beat UGA as he dominated UGA in 2024 and led for most of the game in Athens. UGA also didn't play as well as they did in Athens.
Golding is the one who gave UGA a chance in that game.

We’re aware. With all of the built-in advantages LSU has, they should honestly be a top-5 team every single year, not being sarcastic. Lane wanted an easier trip to the top, and here we are. LSU will likely win by 3 TDs in a couple of weeks.

Good idea to admit defeat now. And get ready Henry, because I'm not going anywhere. I will be more than happy to be here during Kiffin's entire dynasty at LSU, rubbing it in the face of Ole Miss fans.

Im pretty sure we were willing to give that up in the deal. Why we paid his bonus and all that. Sure it would have delayed the process a year. But we didnt sign most of these guys until after playoffs were done anyway. Seaton, leavitt, jones.

100% my dude, except it’s pronounced “Oxfart”.

You could tell when the crowd helped shut down Clemson’s offense, forcing them to go 0/9 on 3rd down in the first half, Kiffin knew he could win big at LSU.
