A decade from now, you will look back and realize that you threw away your one chance to win a NC with that decision.

Kiffin said it. He was confident he would have beaten Miami.

Your baseless pride got in the way.

Serious question. If you could be where you are today with Kiffin delivering you a NC or where you are today with no NC, which would you choose?

He is using LSU just the same. Kiffin only cares about himself and will jump from LSU to more money too.

Listen.

I’m not going to sit here and say Baton Rouge is the cleaner or safer place to live compared to Oxford.

But.

I think for the monster that Lane wants to create it helps being in a near 1million person metro area with the state capital.

There is complete alignment from the governors office, the state AGs office, the ADs office, the business owners to the coaches office.

If LSU football fails then the businesses and hotels and on and on of the state capitol and second largest metro area fails (one that is substantially larger than Jackson).

If Om football fails….meh a bed and breakfast in Oxford might have a few less rooms booked and a few less mimosas downed

There is also no shared loyalty between the two universities in that alignment

Lane wanted an easier trip to the top, and here we are. LSU will likely win by 3 TDs in a couple of weeks.

Nah. The difference will be seen after this year.

Ole Miss has a great team this year…because of Kiffin.

Once the Kiffin impact wears off, you’ll see the real difference.

Serious question, are you retarded? It obviously hurt his recruiting more not being able to coach them than being able to coach them.

He better hope Golding gets them to the playoff this year because if he doesn’t he never will and Carter will look like a fool for making an emotional hire

I honestly don't care. He is a poser and as up and down as any average coach in the sec has ever been.

He has gotten LSU labeled as a team so desperate they are trying to play NFL players to win. That will be remembered way after the Clemson win. It also won't be the last of it because he is a drama queen that knows the sec got the last laugh of his stunt and he will try something else to be noticed. All at lsu's expense.

Question. Would you have taken a championship last year for Kiffin to coach in the playoffs and take your best players with him?

More money? He said the offers from LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida were all equal.
