There is nothing wrong about the statement "Ole Miss is the best value on the board."
Their floor is 9-3 and 10-2/11-1 seems likely.

I don't think Ole Miss is going to be great this year. Kiffin spends more time shopping for players than he does developing them.
The majority of the transfers are multi-year guys. That's Kiffin's portal strategy. Last year was the first time we took mostly one year dudes.

Ole Miss is awesome!

The real question is if Arch leads Texas to an NC win, does Ole Miss hang a banner in their stadium?
Ole piss has so many banners in that stadium... I doubt they can spare the room.

Yeah but only 1 year in the system, which means they are getting new everything. Nobody around to show this is how this is done etc.
It's like when a school hired a new coordinator in the past, and then everyone would either have to learn a new system, or the coordinator had to adjust to the program/system. Now most everyone has to learn a new system regardless.
We'll find out, but it doesn't seem to be a recipe for success to me.

Well this season isn't the end-all, be-all. Kiffin is prepping for a run in 2026. The transfers we took in 23/24 prepped us for last year's run. Next year we will return a core of players with at least a year of experience in the system. The idea that Ole Miss isn't developing players is goofy.

I would like to see it, so long as it does not come at UGA's expense

Lane better pick a QB first
Everybody knows who qb1 is.
Not really worried about that. I think the D2 super star might be playing some slot, some designed goal line plays.
They have 2 qbs that are talented enough to play SEC. 1 of them has yet to see the field.

I feel the same way as long as LSU is out of it.

This idea gets tossed around because Kiffin does a lot of portal'ing, but most seem to have forgotten that Kiffin just put 8 Rebels into the 2025 draft. That was the fifth most amongst all schools and third most amongst SEC schools. Kiffin absolutely develops guys into draft-worthy talent and its asinine to say otherwise

Anyone who thinks Lane Kiffin can win an SEC championship is a complete and utter moron.

South Carolina will play in Atlanta in 2025 before Ole Miss will - guaranteed -
Gamecocks v Hokies open up at MBZ on Aug 31st -
Shane Beamer against his alma mater and the program his father built -
https://www.espn.com/college-football/game/_/gameId/401752680/south-carolina-virginia-tech
Carolina leads the series all-time with Virginia Tech 11-7-2 -
Gamecocks have not lost to VT since 1974 - 4 wins 0 losses 2 ties since - Frank Beamer was the coach at VT for those 6 games since 1974 - he could never manage to beat the Gamecocks in what were some wild and fun football games -
USC's entrance into the SEC in 1992 ended the series with VT -
