The real question is if Arch leads Texas to an NC win, does Ole Miss hang a banner in their stadium?

The only correct answer is 100% yes.

Lane better pick a QB first. He just signed another one out of the portal today. What’s that, 5 or 6 QBs on the roster? As the saying goes, if you have 5 QBs…

Nah we have 1. You of all people should be familiar with him. The TD drive in the rain against Kirby's defense was just the start.

At this price, the Rebels are the best value on the board.

We will need a billboard to celebrate Louisiana talent.

I've been wondering who would be Pre-season National Champions after the Nico fiasco. Congrats Reb's

He’s legit for sure. I’m looking forward to him transferring to UGA for the ‘26 season.

We have Austin Simmons, a true freshman, and a walk-on (who has had a couple battles with cancer and may not even be able to play). So we have 2 QBs on the roster. All we've done is added some depth.

I don't think Ole Miss is going to be great this year. Kiffin spends more time shopping for players than he does developing them.

Over 60% of their roster is players who are there for their 1st year. 52 commits/transfers just in the class last year.

Previous year they had 48 commits.

While I'm sure there is some overlap of students that have stayed and some transfers in and out from both years, that's 100 commits in the past 2 years on an 85 scholarship limit.

The saving grace is that many teams are having a good bit of turnover, but with Ole Miss it's an extreme case. If you look at a team like Ohio St who won the national championship last year and they didn't have a bunch of transfers, they had a few but mostly they had players they developed.

They are wisely spending their money to keep and develop players. Kiffin is the opposite.

Probably win a few upsets and lose to a bunch of teams they don't think they should just like last year. Maybe if he can keep some of the transfers around for a year or 2 they will have a chance, but I would be down right shocked if it was this year.

Brian Kelly took LSU to Atlanta in his first year while no Ole Miss fan has ever seen their team play for a SECCG

Would the MS National Guard need to be deployed to Oxford if that happened?

and when we don’t, queue the schedule complaints.

I honestly have no clue whether or not we will be as good or better than the last two years. High bar for a team that just lot majority of our production.

I think Arch will play at Texas for two years unless something wild happens. If any family knows what’s best for preparing QBs for the NFL, it’s the Manning family.

Even if he wins the Heismann and a Natty I think he comes back for one more year. Kid is in no rush and making a business long term decision.
