If he flops, maybe, but all of these guys were hyped beyond belief & never really lived up to the hype. LF7 May have been sorta good, but he folded like a cheap tent against defenses with a pulse.

So every QB you played with in high school could look off an SEC caliber Safety and throw a rope 47 yards in the air for a TD to win a title? Who were these high school QBs?

known for one major play. That's it. I've never seen this much hype for a guy with 5 career TDs to his name.

One it was more than one play. Bama has not had a QB with this ability in the Saban era. Two he probably is but if lives up to half the expectations Bama will be a great offensive team.

Meh, not true. He's known for an amazing half against a great football team on the biggest stage as a true freshman.

He was able to do what the 5th year senior heisman trophy winner couldn't do against UGA. Overhyped...meh,maybe. Is he deserving of a lot of talk? you damn right he is. No other true frosh ever did what he did.

You are the saltiest Auburn fan on this board. It's incredible, really. The term "little brother" gets thrown around ad nauseam here, but damn man, you REALLY act like a little brother with all of your posts regarding Bama.

Let it go. You beat us last year. Be proud. Have some sex soon, you pent up psycho.

I'd say no because he came in and won a championship. There have been plenty of hyped players who couldn't win a conference, let alone a championship.

I have a feeling I'm going to be an insufferable douche if Tua is really good

Y'all keep doubting away, my SEC friends.

Yes. He is majorly talented. But we dont really know how good. Against UGA, Lucky throw to Ridley on 4th down. INT. Sacked. But clutch OT throw to a wide open receiver. WAAAAYY Too much hype for now.

There was no luck involved the way he picked your defense apart in the second half....and he last play of the game? he completely looked off then burned your back when UGA was in prevent defense.

Jacob Coker was more hyped. I had access to the Bama board at the time, I predicted Sims would get the start based on watching them both pass in practice. They laughed me off the board and took away my privileges. I was right though.

He won’t always have the refs to keep him in it. Tyler Simmons was onsides. There was a blatant face mask on swift. Bad bad calls took the steam out of the Georgia offense.

You guys kill me with this lucky throw BS. Have you watched the throw since the game or is it just to painful? He is obviously looking at Ridley the entire time. Even if he was throwing to Harris(which he wasn't) it would've still be a great play because Harris was being interfered with. The hype machine is at Sophmore Tebow level for sure and that is probably unwarranted at this point(it was for Tebow at that point as well). Show some pride though. Show you have some knowledge of football. If you want to criticize the kid do it for the sack or the INT. Don't try to make shite up.
