Is Tua the most overhyped player in the last decade?

He's known for one major play. That's it. I've never seen this much hype for a guy with 5 career TDs to his name.

We won't know that until at least this season is over, and maybe his career. IF he comes out and kills it then it wasn't it hype it was reality.

He reminds me of cardale Jones hype wise. No one had tape on him and he killed it. Then they did and he was meh.

He won the national championship. If he never does shite else he is more accomplished than 99% of all collegiate QBs. Not only did he win it, he won it as a true freshman without any meaningful snaps prior.
Did I also mention his team was down 2 scores when he came in, and he won it in OT after the kicker failed to close it out in regulation.
I don't know why people are down playing what he did like it was anything other than amazing.

He threw an interception on a running play
He threw a TD to a player he wasn't throwing the ball too, saving a turnover.
He took a devastating sack on 1st down in OT, only to be bailed out by a blown coverage.
I'm not saying he is bad, and I certainly think he is a better passer than Hurts. But all those things happened exactly like I stated. He has only played a half of football. We will see how the season goes and if he is really as good as expected.
