46 second mark.
Yes, the QB is a ball carrier so the rules are slightly different, as they should be.
Defender makes no attempt whatsoever to wrap or tackle. In fact, he crosses his arms around his own chest to protect himself from a direct head to head hit he is intentionally initiating to intentionally injure a player.
I think the NCAA needs to look at this and suspend him for the rest of the year. This is the kind of thing we want to get out of college football or the sport won't be around very long.

They got the call right in the end. He was leading g with his shoulder and it didn’t look like he was going for the head.

No, it wasn't targeting.
But I'm glad the QB lived.

frick no that’s not targeting. Quit being a pussy.

Targeting is a philosophical subjective discussion depending on what team committed the penalty and if the check cleared.
For example, when Haynes King was hit in the Georgia vs Tech game and fumbled. There was no call for targeting, and it caused an uproar here. Georgia said no targeting. Same situation here, difference of opinion.

This was not targeting. It was a great hit. You sound like you might pull for Ohio State.

You’re just mad cause your dude got popped. If you run the QB up the middle, eventually he’s going to get hit hard. If you can’t handle it, don’t watch.

It was OT of a title game and the runner was close to a first down, should he not have tried to blow him up? if Stockton fumbles and we recover the game is over.
Your QBs head was out front and he hits him with the shoulder. The rules expert didn't think it was targeting, the refs didn't think it was targeting, so why are y'all still melting over this?
Fortunately for y'all, Stockton isn't a gaping pussy like several of your posters.

It’s being discussed bc he’s a smaller qb but he’s also a runner. If that was a 210 lb RB it wouldn’t have even been up for debate. Not targeting.
Although I’ve seen it called for less.

No. It should be a flag for Triggering instead. Too bad they don't have a flag for that yet.
