It's not make or break for anyone this year. Just get through the season and prep for next year imo.

I think you're right... and take it the next step:

get through this season BY prepping for next year.

Everybody gets to keep their eligibility, right? And it's not a normal season- like I said, Alabama can lose a bunch of games and nobody will care, it's the "crazy covid year". The big thing will be who resurfaces in 2021.

So treat this year like an extended NFL preseason, build the shite out of your depth, and come back loaded next year. I mean, frick, if you are willing, you can come back with an entire "freshman" class with 10 games real-time experience. Sophomores too.
If you happen to have some draft-ready players coming out soon, get them some highlight plays, but don't focus on them too much. The season's fricked up anyway, make the best of it for the program.

I know it will be hard to do it, but some team will, I bet, and come out ahead.

Would you rather win this year, or win next? I'd say focus on the real season coming up, next year.

If Florida can't win the east I'd probably kick him to the curb if I was them

No. Next year could be interesting if he fails to beat UGA this year, though. Overall, I'd say the fanbase will be more patient with Mullen, provided the wheels don't come off like they did under the last two regimes.

East, my bad. I think we should win the East. And I think we should be competitive in Atlanta and play Alabama as tough as anybody in the country. I don’t think the expectation is we will undoubtably beat them, but I think it’s realistic to think we have a chance.

Mullen is Florida. A cuck scientologist cousin Eddie coach is too perfect to ever change.

I don’t think any coach will get fired this year unless he has expectations of being above .500 and goes winless.

You guaranteed there would be no football this year. So how could this be a make or break year for anyone?

Definitely not make or break. This is just a survival year. Put a good product on the field, for whatever length of season we can get.

I do believe they should beat UGA this year, but with all the uncertainty, who knows which players will even be playing by the time that game comes around?
