Too dumb to know what this means.

Please advise.

Anecdotal "evidence" is like saying, "We should ban emojis because I knew this kid once who died in a car crash while trying to decipher what a string of emojis meant."

Politicians are great on anecdotal evidence because it pulls at heart strings (You mean you DON'T care that Billy died??) while being of absolutely no statistical value (1 in 4,000,000 kids dying because of confusing emoji translation is not worth legislation).

My daddy always told me that he didn't care what I wanted to do in life as long as I was the best at it that I could be...and I've always embraced that!

My daddy once told me he didn't care what I wanted to do in life, as long as it was enough money to pay for my kids college.

I am not going to turn this into a political debate. But to blame me personally for what you perceive to be an evil generation is going a bit far, don’t you think?

Ha, Don't sweat it. Insecure people are bitter and Millennials are very insecure, they blame others for their issues.

They need an "escape" goat, bless their heart.

I haven't been here long and post even less. When I first started visiting, I thought these guys are a bunch of assholes. Amusing assholes, but assholes nonetheless.

Then one day I happened upon an OT thread about depression and magically all the assholeness dried up and the posters were having a serious, respectful discussion about a serious issue that takes too many young and old lives. It changed my perspective of the place and allowed me to see it for what it was...mostly decent people having fun and giving each other shite. I still don't post much but this is my guilty pleasure diversion from time to time.

All you need to do to fit in here is to start a thread once a week or so titled..."Remind me again why the frick did we let Mizzou in the SEC" - and you'll be fine and welcome here!

Hey, you're a 70 year old who can use a computer. I'd say you're winning.

As a millennial, I apologize for our generation. Easily the worst in modern U.S. history.

Oh, don’t apologize. Every generation has its unusual characters. What I find interesting is that every generation wants to blame the others for the current state of affairs. So, I guess, those born in the 30s are somewhat implicated in the Nazi movement.

Yes, somewhat. There were large numbers of German-Americans loyal to Germany at that time in America and many were Nazi's before America entered the war.

Until the Nazi's bombed Pearl Harbor, the great majority of Americans, of all stripes, didn't really hold any special enmity towards Germany.

It would make me feel like it was worth all those years hitting the boards and studying if people would start calling me Dr. Lite.

Thanks.
