I like college football. You just had your big game of the year. Do you only watch Texas games?

I really thought they would beat Oklahoma yesterday, Oklahoma had played nobody, so it was hard to gauge them. Oklahoma qb played great yesterday.

Oklahomas DL and OL won that game not the QB. And OU was clearly the better team. Texas needed a blocked punt in the EZ and a dropped OU pass in the EZ to even keep it close.

I don’t know about that, yall basically utilized Wyomings game-plan. Hurry up offense to neutralize our defensive line depth and quick throws to the boundary to stay ahead of the chains. We had 4 turnovers, damn near 100 yards of penalties, and we were playing freshman all over the field due to injury. Gabriel absolutely was the difference with his timing on throws and ability to keep plays alive. I don’t believe OU could beat Texas again though, a lot had to happen for that outcome to be.

I think we are kind of back. Was a great game that was about big plays, coaching mistakes, penalties that were or weren't capitalized on. Previously, it was about Texas getting physically manhandled or just giving up.

So wouldn't use "back" but still have faith that they've turned a big corner.

I also think a lot of people overlooked OU because of Venables. They’re a tough out if Gabriel is healthy. I had never watched him play, he’s got full command of that offense. OU deserved that win, objectively I don’t think they’re better than Texas. Hopefully we can run it back.

Texas is clearly back and that isn’t sarcasm. This is their best team since 2009. Yesterday could have gone either way. I hope to not face Texas again in December, assuming OU gets there.

The Texas-OU circle jerk going on here is touching. Really sweet.

But, yes. Texas IS back. Right back where they've been at this time of year every year for decades now. They're 3rd place in the Big 12, about to start a mid year slide to Big12 irrelevance.

What's new?

Go back and watch the LOS, True freshman Cayden Greene manhandled Sweat once he was inserted into the game.

Once again if not for a blocked punt Texas fell on in the Endzone Texas would have only had 23 pts. OU RB dropped an easy TD pass at the goal line also. This game should have been won by two scores

if a true freshman manhandled Sweat, your coaches suck for not playing him earlier

i’m assuming you are talking about 1 play or something stupid where he lost his balance.. give me a time stamp.. i’ve already watched it twice.. not watching the whole thing again right now

You seem pretty confident in this. How about a $100 wager to charity that Texas doesn't lose another regular season game?

3rd Q on man. Greene is much bigger and stronger and took Sweats sack lunch the rest of the game. It wasn’t one play. You are still o ignoring the fact Texas scored only 2 offensive TDs and needed a lucky punt block to keep it close. That’s not losing as the better team.

You are ignoring that Texas threw an interception on the goal line right before the punt block. They negate each other.

It was an even game that Texas was winning with 1:15 left to go.. There shouldn’t have been that much time left..

I can’t help but wonder.. if OU made that field goal, maybe we don’t settle for the field goal there, and we try for the TD.. much like y’all did..

Who do you think would have won if the situation was reversed? If we had 1:15 down three..

Bottom line: OU won. Hope we get another shot.

And he's shorter than that midget that beat LSU in the SECCG last season. Go figure.

Reading that last line tells you everything you need to know about Texas so called fans … hasn’t seen one game of their arch rivals this year ….
