Average staff tenure got to be what, 12 months?

What makes it so hard these guys are looking for a job as soon as they can? Is it literally 24/7/365?

Maybe he's a dick, or maybe they get offers they can't refuse, maybe both

If a college coach is easy to work for then you got a lazy coach IMO

this is reminding me of the last days of the Spurrier regime at SC.

total chaos

the rise of Clemson sent Spurrier packing and now it has Saban and Bama reeling.

Yes, Personal experience. He is the one who told a secretary not to speak to him when she commented on his haircut. In his own words “do not talk to me unless I talk to you”.The man is a genius but he is also weird.

He has coaches leave like this every year. Even the ones where they beat you. It has nothing to do with Clemson. When you work for Saban your stock goes way up. Coaches are just like professionals in any industry. Better pay, promotions, etc. come up, you take them.

Coaches don't even want a championship if they have to work 24/7. I don't blame them. Spend time with your kids and wife.

They want to work for Saban as a resume builder. It's just like any other business, work with the best and move on to a bigger role and pay with someone else. Bama hasn't had any top paid assistants under Saban, other than Kirby and I'm not sure he was.

Saban runs his program like a 3rd world sweatshop

while Dabo gets his assistants paid and its like a family

#ClemsonFamily

i can understand wanting to escape Tuscaloosa though. lol

I think you're getting Saban and Prince confused.

Well he holds people accountable and he is hard on them. Seriously that’s something that’s not going to sit well with younger coaches now. Some of them may not like the grind of college as well and I can see why someone would want to coach in the NFL. You actually have a life outside of football for a few months out of the year.

Dabo also gets to play 7-5 Pittsburgh for a conference championship. Probably easy to be pretty laid back with such terrible competition

Have you ever thought about where the overwhelming majority of the coaches go when they leave, genius?....I'll help you!.....they go on to higher, better paying, career building, positions at other places that are attracted to them BECAUSE of their Alabama/Saban affiliation.
If you fools could realize how stupid you appear to be when you post things like this, surely you'd stop....but then again, you wouldn't be fools, would you?

Almost all of Saban's assistants have gone on to bigger and better things. He is the goose that laid the golden egg.

He also resurrects the careers of coaches who have gotten fired.

If that is the definition of hard to work for, sign me up.

Plenty of coaches are hard to work for. I'd say some of these guys feel disrespected, micromanaged, and controlled by Saban. Its most likely become a "get in and get out" chatter amongst assistant coaches. Simply for the resume builder now. I doubt Saban can name these coaches wives names.
