The majority of fortune 500 corporate executives are exactly the type...type A pricks motivated by their ultimate objective (shareholder value)...and they are in that position because they will step on anyone/anything that is an obstacle to attaining the goal. Nothing wrong it...difficult to work for, yes, but at the same time in many cases this is how the rest of us get paychecks and bonuses. Saban is hyper focused on the job he is paid to do, which is win championships...and the results speak for itself.
