the ONE big problem with your numbers projection for rivers is that he WON'T get 80% of the defensive snaps. That's what it would take for him to double his numbers.

1- Did you talk to Shoop and him say he wont?

2- Is it a must to obtain that?

So again... you will lose on your own field to MS ST.

You need to take that bet with emotions removed.

If you don’t know who Shoop is you really show how much you don’t know about football.

Bruh it’s the 17th ranked class on 247. I guess that’s good for State, but not elite like 4 other schools just in the SEC west

How bout I take a SWAG. Being we're talking about states "D" I'll guess he is their DC.

How many coordinators can you name? To make it easy on you, just SEC.

Now on the flipside. just because someone knows a coordinators name that makes them a football expert?

that's the best you got doc?

so again doc, LSU will not lose to state on it's OWN field in '19.

you made the statement now how bout you back it up and answer the question. When did mullen redshirt his ENTIRE recruiting class? A computer whizz like you should have no trouble finding that info.

The way you put up all those #1 this, #1 that, #2, #5, #2, #4 and so on and so on. Failing to mention they were juco players and not high school guys. Trying to make it look better than what it actually was.

I asked if any were non juco and you replied. Yes and gave one name and that player was a juco also.

The odds of them qualifying academically? That and it typically takes them a year to adjust...leaving them with only one year to truly contribute.

This. They should only be admitted when there is an immediate deficiency that the juco player can absolutely address.

Also, you should bring in a redshirt-able HS senior at the same year for the same position.

Example.
LSU Brings in juco TE Tk McClendon
Should have brought in a hs senior TE with him so that player could RS behind him and not get in this position deficit again.

Also don’t like juco when you have sophomores and juniors at the same position. Next thing you know, you’ll have four players at the same position graduating leaving you at a dearth in the position yet again.

Well, he's not doing that....like I have already said in this thread, 2 of these jucos will not end up in the class.7 Jucos out of 25 signees does not equal anywhere near half. Also, 1 of the 7 jucos has 3 years left to play 3 because he qualified out of HS and transferred from Kentucky after a redshirt year, so it's really not like a normal Juco with only 2 years of playing time left. It's almost like some people in this thread have zero clue about Mississippi State's roster and are making wild assumptions based on extremely limited knowledge. Crazy thought, I know.

I didn't need my best for you. You have disproved yourself 2 times in this thread.

LOL.... LSU is on the road for that game. You would think a strong football mind would know that.

Again.... Why would I need to bring my best when you make a comment like this and in the OP is "I know some of these are Juco"

You know everybody is reading what you typed.... right?

#5 OT Cross

#6 DT Pickering

#7 QB Shrader

JUST LMAO!!! Man you are special.

Hey CHU!!!

do you not remember what you post on here??

it was the good dr that said LSU would lose on IT'S home field again. if you don't remember that you might want to go reread what you actually posted. scroll up a bit it's right there in black and white. I know LSU is at state this year because I watched them kick states arse in the rain in tiger stadium this past season.

Hey YON. you say SOME of them are jucos. the all knowing doc put up FIFTEEN names with position rankings and then later says some are jucos. so, 12 out of 15 is SOME. so 80% is SOME?

hey pas to las. I specifically asked you if any of the 15 players were non juco and you replied YES, Then YOU proceeded to provide one single name, heath. well guess what he is a JUCO.

why didn't you post those three names at first in response to my question?

almost forgot. for the THIRD time what class was it that mullen redshirted the whole thing. maybe that's just something else you fudged trying to make some point. inquiring minds want to know.

will be waiting with baited breath for your response. have a good day.

This is what I've said for a while. Nothing wrong with getting some JUCO kids, heck we've gotten some really good kids from there, but the vast majority take at least half a season to get use to playing at SEC speed. Some can walk into any program and look like a seasoned vet right away, but most can't. Thats what makes a JUCO heavy team risky

Only five players on their roster are JUCO transfers. Edited to clarify that only five are new to the program this year.

Well some of them are football gods and more. Like when somebody points out that Ms ST has become a development program that puts people in the NFL on a regular basis. That they accomplish this by massive redshirting.

When you point out that Mullen pretty much red shirted a whole class, the football god say no he didn't. Well, in 2011, he did. He only used 2 out of that class. Did it again in 2016... I think he used 3.

In fact, he never played more than 3 true freshmen per incoming class except for his first year.

But Football God knows!

That's foreign to people like him. At bama, we don't red shirt a lot of players. 2017, we had a great class. #1 in fact. We had 6 5* players. Out of 29 enrollees, we gave red shirts to just 9.

Different programs with different ways of getting what they need. In 2018, out of their top 5 recruits, 1 played out of HS, 1 played out of JUCO. The rest took a red shirt. LOL.. You won't find that at Bama.

But ole Football god knows that NOBODY can do that this day and age of Foozbawl.

I'm an LSU fan and alumni (civil engineering in 1998), and reading this "God's" posts makes me glad that he at least admits he's a fan...his repeated postings irritate the hell out of me. He doesn't seem to have graduated from anywhere, past high school, and that would be a stretch.
