This isn't a long term strategy. Dan Mullen left us with huge roster gaps because he is stupid. Joe Moorhead is smart tho. In the future we won't have this issue. Florida on the other hand... You guys better keep an eye on your roster. Before you know it you will only have 78 players on scholarship with only 2 running backs and 3 WRs.

He did neither of those. He was number 2 behind Cam Newton. Still good stats though.

Then he led RB? Which is what was insinuated

So far, Mullen has ran circles around JoMo. Hopefully that’s corrected.

I love hacks...

2 of the 3 that made the first round last year from MS ST were 3 stars out of JUCO.

The more you know

Moorhead should be ok if he keeps improving things. He did not adapt to the roster he had last year and squandered a great defense. From what I can tell, he is building things the right way for the long haul, though.

Yes, they do. If you put those players in with high school recruits their ranking would be much lower.

WR:

#54 Heath

#104 Johnquarise Patterson

#105 Anderson-Butts

#198 Caleb Ducking

Other JUCO players:

#13 WDE Jordan Davis

#45 SDE Tre Lawson

#51 OG Sebastien Dolcine

#60 SDE Benjamin Key

I'd take Benjamin Key over most 4* high school DT's right now. Dude is a bull, I hope he sticks with us. Lawson is just raw with big upside. Heath was a national recruit out of high school.

No not on Clemson level but judging by our games with LSU in recent years, we are even with them now.

no No NO you got it all wrong dude. ask any state fan that watched them play and knows their roster.

starters and backups rotated EVERY series. backups played just as much as starters.

on the flip side. if what you're saying is true. then all those backups on the state "D" last year aren't as experienced as what state fans claim. making this year's backups even less experienced.

yes they did.

someone also said #2 in the west. stevens is next cam newton. dt depth is a bunch of 4*s RFr. one of best secondaries in SEC (didn't qualify with a number ex top3-4).

This dawg fans are enjoying the offseason like last year. They will not come down to reality till they start playing good teams and lose again . These JUCO players are only rated high because they are not being compared to high school players. States class average is only higher then a few SEC teams .

you think state finishes 2nd in the west

that transfer QB, good as cam

dt depth a bunch of 4* RFr. state did sign four DTs in the '18 class. ONE 4* and THREE 3*s. How does that add up to a bunch of four * players?

one of best secondaries in SEC would be top three. don't see that happening

found another gem. eight defensive players from state will be drafted in the '20 NFL draft.

you agree with all, some or none?

Two 4* talents actually, Lovett was on the way to a 4 star ranking until he committed to us. It's a weird phenomena that happens to some MSU commits.
