Name a coach who’s a** wouldn’t be in hot water in a similar situation?

This isn’t unique to O.

I have taken some heat for this same sentiment on TR.

54 players that got ultra woke; wanted to get it off their chest; didn’t get it off their chest. Players had Ryan Clark in their ear.

How was pelini supposed to have enough guys to cover and tackle. Some didn’t want to tackle.

He deserves that buyout. They didn’t give him a chance.

Dwight McGlothern is going to be good; but he was forced into action agains a 8-1 Florida. Pretty sure we had 4 CB for that game after Flott was ejected

Peline pulled it off against Uf and OM.

What if the next defense has only 29 players instead of 40-42 next year? Are they going to fire the next DC?

Knee jerk move.

LSU actually had a great offense, especially considering their oline. The problem was on the defensive side of the ball. They'll probably suck arse on offense next season after O makes a questionable OC hire.

Any changes made on the offensive side that are forced yes. Defensively its easier to justify. I thought Pellini would do Ok but I was totally wrong. Covid and all the attrition made things harder but no excuse for a historically bad defense. I actually blame Orgeron every bit as much as Pellini. He is a bit of a scapegoat

Short answer is no. Pelini and Linehan had to go.

Ensminger wanted to retire after last season and will likely move to analyst. .

Bill Johnson will move to analyst.

Busch do you need a S and CB coach?

Pelini and Linehan were misses.

The question now is can O build a staff that rights the wrongs helps rebuild culture and fill gaps at OL, LB and S.

We will see but these changes either had to be made or like in the case of Johnson and Ensminger were happening anyway.

He has to basically rebuild the staff, or have it done for him. Both OC and DC, when it is well known his fat arse is on the hot seat

Good luck with that.

The overreaction was believing after 2019 that a woman beater with an IQ approximately equal to his body temperature had somehow become a great football coach.

Yes. Yes they are. I'm so glad Saban saw this season as a huge opportunity and made the most of it. Losers will complain about the season and make excuses.

You frickers are relentlessly obsessed with LSU! When we hired all these coaches you told us they sucked now you are saying that we should have kept them? You idiots just have to be up LSU’s arse 24/7

Too soon to fire O, so what else can they do? After further refelection firing the passing coach is a good move because he didn't even know which freshman qb to play when Brennan went down. Johnson is a future SEC star. I mean you are suppossed to fire whoever isn't doing their job. LSU just has a lot who didn't do their job well this year. Not over reacting is my 2 cents worth.

These retards on this board talk out of both sides of their mouth with rarely any substance. This whole site should be renamed and rebranded . This is nothing but a shite talking troll board. Pay them no attention.

This is factually incorrect. LSU fired the defensive coordinator, the safeties coach, and the passing game coordinator. The offensive coordinator and defensive line coach retired.

I know the usual idiots here don't care about a fact that doesn't paint LSU in an embarrassing light, so this isn't meant for you.
