Seriously, a win is successful for Ole Miss. a 7-5 season is good. 9-3 for LSU is a down year

C.J. Mosley and A.J. are two huge losses for UA that will probably equate to a couple of losses.

If we win our bowl game, it will be our 4th straight season with at least 10 wins. What a decline that is.

LSU has plateaued. They will continue to have up and down winning seasons always falling short of their potential while Miles is coach.

True, but C.J./A.J. are the leaders on D and O. Losing the field general on both sides of the ball is pretty hard to overcome. If anyone can do it, Saban can, but it will be a tall task.

I guess I meant that in general. As others have mentioned, we've been in a decline for multiple years now per this board.

I really don't know how LSU is going to look next year, but I believe they will be very good in '15 and '16.

We are rising big time !

Jennings will be a "Marshall" who can actually throw the ball too.

Then we will have Harris who has a gun.

Good times are ahead for sure.

Yes, he can. We'll have freshmen at lots of skill positions and will still be breaking in Jennings. I would be okay with another 9-4/10-3 season, but 2016 we should be expecting 11-14 wins

LSU is not on the rise or decline IMO, they are a great team they lost to Bama which is understandable, Georgia (who was healthy at the time and played a great game) and had one slip up game against Ole Miss a team that they should have beat by two touchdowns

9-3 next year wouldn't be a big deal at all to people that matter. It'll be a relatively young team in a tough division. If it happened for a few years in a row following that, it would be a different scenario. I don't see that happening.

LSU is about where they should expect to be. Ten win seasons, fairly consistently, are pretty much the high water mark for a program at their level (or any level, really).

I think they could probably upgrade from Miles if they are willing to pay and did the search properly, but I'm not sure how much of an upgrade it would really be. Plus, I like Les.

LSU isn't underachieving. They're closer to overachieving, if anything. They compete with larger, wealthier schools on a regular basis. They have a state all their own, but it isn't Texas or Georgia or Florida. They're not a gigantic school with a huge alumni base, although they're getting there.
