You have no idea what LSU promised.
Ole Miss has their own problems with clear cut tampering of the Clemson player.
Regardless, this won't amount to anything as it will be resolved. This is mostly PR move by Ole Miss with some vindictive overtones.

It was a PR move by Lane to make Ole Miss have to sue players to get their contractually owed money everyone else just pays. I bet quietly LSU pays and this goes away.
