Never had a top 5 finish and only won 1 major bowl game.
Plus they have weird fans who live to count post by other posters and are on SEC boards to top it off.

Shockingly….KU is nearly even with Mizzou in their Border War football games. Weird stuff man.

I saw them beat the hell out of Texas for a half and win the game in Austin this year

Rated #2 nationally back when they had a heavyweight HC, Mangino, finished 12-1 that year... but he was fired because he Yelled at players......since then downhill......had had an undefeated year much earlier......

Think they've had a few flashes of being good over the years. Think they won an Orange Bowl around 2005.

Until this last decade or so KU always had one or two pretty to really good teams a decade. And the other eight or nine sucked.
They are still probably better historically than a lot of schools. UTEP, the New Mexico Schools come to mind really quick.

Probably when it comes to Power 5 conferences. The Big12 is hardly murderer’s row but their record would be more respectable in the mountain west or cusa
