A&M hasn't beaten Alabama since Manziel cheated

Manziel hasn't been part of A&M since 2013 and divorced his wife in 2018. Manziel cheating on his wife is the reason A&M hasn't beaton Alabama? That's some bat shite crazy assumption.

so I guess everyone is hung up on the 2017 season and we shouldnt focus on what he did overall? He took over a limp dick Bobby Bowden led team and turned them back into the FSU powerhouse that they were.

2018 through 8 games: 5-3

2019 through 8 games: 5-3

Kellen Mond through 8 games

2018: 155-260-6 Passing (59.6%) for 2032 yards and 11 TD, 92 carries for 257 yards and 4 TD rushing

2019: 174-274-6 Passing (63.5%) for 2003 yards and 16 TD, 77 carries for 352 yards and 5 TD rushing

Not sure what the OP is trying to say other than "Ich bin Schwuler".

This is purely about cost versus output. We aren't paying Muschamp 7.5 mil a year.

Who the frick cares that your shitty team costs less?

After we beat USC again this year I bet there will be a few boosters who will wish they could pay a few extra million a year to stop the losing streak to A&M.

I love how the rest of the SEC needs to tell us how to spend our millions. That isn't their problem

Why should it matter to us what you pay your HC?
If makes zero difference to me whether you pay him three times or one-third what we pay our coach.

Probably already stated, but i'm not reading 5 pages: Only thing relevant so far to aggy is 74-72. They paid a guy that much money for this to be their battle cry.

Wut? He went 20-6 the 2 years after Winston. He was there in 2014. And I love how you left off it 5-6 swan song year.

Post Winston his teams got progressively worse and went 25-12. He then bailed on that place when it was officially a dumpster fire.

Still to early tell next year he'll have 2 classes in and they should be better. However, as a poster said I don't care for Jimbo wasn't sad to see him leave LSU back then, and think he is overrated. He's a decent coach that rode Jameis period. Maybe he'll find another one if he does aTm will make noise and then fade when that QB graduates.

The schedule favors A&M next year, but its gonna take more than that.

A&M right now is at Ole Miss/Arky levels. Barely beat them. Jimbo better be making some major changes.

A&M is playing a ton of true fish, and has injuries all over the roster. Will be much better next year, because we may lose less than half a dozen starters total

accomplished nothing in 1.5 seasons with mostly players he didn’t recruit or spend as much time coaching? Oh no, what a disaster!

Damn good thing some of y’all aren’t athletic directors, Saban and Swinney would be safe, every other college coach would be at a new school every 2 years.

So to answer your question, no he’s not one of the Worst hires of all time, not even remotely close. Is he a bad hire? Let’s revisit after his 4th season when he has all players he’s recruited and coached. If we are still only winning 7 or 8 games a year, yes you’ve got a case for saying he’s a bad hire.

Out of curiosity, I googled worst coaching hires in SEC history. The magic machine gave the following:

1) Mike DuBose
2) Ole Miss era Ed Orgeron
3) Joker Phillips
4) Ray Goff
5) John L. Smith - Probably #1 in my book
6) Doug Barfield
7) Derek Dooley
8) Rockey Felker
9) Ken Cooper
10) Curley Hallman

How are two different team ranked number 1 and why is Auburn still ranked 8 after losing two games?

Jimbo will be showing he's an elite coach soon. They just swept two very good miss schools and he's about to run the table on the rest of the season. Poor UGA, USC, and LSU don't stand a chance.
