Worst in history? Not even remotely close. Most slightly above average? Perhaps

why, do you suppose, did LSU try to hire him?

Dunno. Glad we didn't and we dodged a bullet.

No. The OL is the main problem

Didn't Jimbo leave the OLine at FSU in a mess also?

Fisher is doing what he was hired to do. Increase recruiting and talent level, and build a program. These last two years are the first in a LONG time that I've actually seen the team get better as the season progressed

Even the OL has improved from total trash earlier in the year

Next year, a favorable schedule will be welcome

No he isn’t the worst, but definitely not worth what they are paying him.

Not even close.

Was/is he going to be an overvalued waste of money? Most likely, but aside from pissing away millions Jimbo will give A&M as good a chance if not far greater chance of peaking every 3 to 4 years & having a top 5-10 team with a chance to go to ATL or be in the CFP conversation.

Jimbo only hurts the handful of BMD's that are on the hook for the payments/buyouts.

I think he needs at least another year to bring some more of his recruits in.

He is what he is. Great coach when he has a QB. Not so great when he doesn't. Just look at FSU's record pre and post Jameis Winston. Had a good, but not great couple of seasons with E.J. Emanuel, two great seasons with Winston and a national title, and then the chain got pulled on the toilet. There's no excuse for not winning at FSU. None. One of the richest talent states, and you can't win there? GTFOH.

I don’t think any sec team will approach the worst hire: LSU hiring Curley Hallman beats them all.

He went 19-8 the 2 years before Winston and then 23-4 the 2 years after.

Pretty much affirms what I said. Had a good couple of years pre-Winston...A couple of great years with a national title and a playoff appearance with Winston, and then circled the drain after that.

I kind of get it....He caught his wife with her personal trainer and felt like he needed a change of scenery. But he no longer gave a shite what was going on with the program at FSU in the process, and they are still paying for that.

23-4 is circling the drain without Winston?

This is purely about cost versus output. We aren't paying Muschamp 7.5 mil a year.

Jury is still out from an ROI standpoint on Jimbo/A&M. Gotta give the man more than a year to fill the gaps on the roster.

They went 20-6 in 2015 and 2016, the 2 years post-Winston. The wheels came off in 2017, after Jimbo had already made up his mind that he was going to bolt. Hell...he didn't even finish the 2017 season and FSU had to re-schedule an opponent which had cancelled due to a hurricane so they could get bowl-eligible, or else Jimbo, not Taggart, would have been known as the one who broke the FSU bowl streak.
