You seem confused Nebraska sure does have a lot of bowl wins got a team who fails in postseason lol….. where do you idiots come up with this crap at ? Wouldn’t that apply to OU also ? Which also is in top ten all time in bowl wins ? Too funny .

I think Tommie Frazier just ran another TD in against Spurrier’s defense. Lawrence Phillips isn’t around to do it anymore

With the Buckeyes’ cupcake schedule, it may backfire on them in the playoffs for not being battle tested. They struggled against Texas…

Typical Buttpie fan. I have lived in Ohio for 32 years, and they get more insufferable every year. Most of them still will not acknowledge that Mizzou beat the OSU at the 2023 Cotton Bowl. Always a bunch of excuses.
As for 2025, they're obviously talented, but have not played the schedules that several SEC teams will play. Does steel sharpen steel? We will find out in CFP. Hell, will they even be #1 on 11/4, with their resume, in 1st CFP Rankings? Also, what will they do with Oregon, whose best win is at Northwestern. B18 has major scheduling issues. I cant imagine the television partners are thrilled with the games they get, or the ratings?

I feel zero sympathy for television execs who signed any of the tv deals with the conferences.

Who doesn’t acknowledge that osu lost the 2023 cotton bowl?
It was the biggest game in Missouri history and capped the worst season for osu in the last decade
Has nothing to with this season. OSU has already played 3 top 25 ranked sagarin teams with PSU ranked in the top 20 and Michigan top 25. Add in Indiana if those teams make it and 6 games will be right around top 25.
Perfectly acceptable schedule but OSU has made these teams look so bad people mistakenly think they are actually bad, when OSU is really good

Now we’re just gaslighting or trolling.
Sagarin has Auburn at 28, Clemson at 30, South Carolina at 33 and Arkansas at 37.
If the rankings don’t reflect an ability to win games, any game, they’re not worth much.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all.

How is it gaslighting or trolling to just state a true fact where Sagarin has them ranked.
I don't have them ranked in the top 20, but it is an "objective" metric.
People said OSU's schedule is not good and all I did was point out what objective metrics say about their schedule

They only beat Texas by 7. They're beatable.
Look at the box score. Texas just about doubled-up OSU's rushing total...and this was with a struggling Arch. If Sark didn't act like we had the Dallas Cowboys 1995 o-line when we had first downs in the red zone, Texas likely wins that game. This is a Texas team that I think will finish 7-5, maybe 8-4 if we get lucky.
OSU is a really good team. They aren't great. It is far from a certainty that they win the national title.

Did not see this coming but it's probable, that defense might rank among the greatest of all-time and that team, with exception to 2019 LSU, could be ranked among the greatest ever

Is that supposed to mean your conferences marque game is at noon because its a quality product?
No, no it isnt. 2 good teams in an 18 team conference (called the big 10) leads to a boring product. The state university of ohio football club will be exposed.

I think there was another decade in there that you missed where they also had the same schedule type.

Ohio St has thus far played the 50th most difficult schedule in the country.
That is below every single SEC team.
You've played, using FEI power rankings since it's a measure of team strength and rankings are not.
vs #14 Texas
vs FCS Grambling
vs #71 Ohio
@ #26 Washington
vs #50 Minnesota
@ #27 Illinois
@ #74 Wisconsin
Future:
vs #20 Penn St(and dropping)
@ #76 Purdue
vs #61 UCLA
vs #65 Rutgers
@ #16 Michigan
That's an easy as frick schedule. You only have 5 total away games and you aren't playing any top10 teams. Your best opponent is a Texas team that lost to Florida and needed OT to beat Kentucky, who is the worst team in the SEC.

That's a normal amount of away games, OSU just is playing 5 away games in conference.
Alabama plays 5 road games this year
UGA plays 3 road games and a neutral
Texas plays 5 road games
Who are all these top level teams who are playing 6+ road games?

Well I meant to add more detail about the quality of the teams and forgot, but anyway here is Alabama's schedule:
@ #37 Florida St
vs #129 ULM
vs #74 Wisconsin
@ #3 Georgia
vs #18 Vandy
@ #15 Missouri
vs #17 Tennessee
@ #39 South Carolina
vs #22 LSU
vs FCS E.Ill
@ #24 Auburn
See the difference?

I see one top 10 team on your schedule.
A bunch of teams in the 15-30 range just like OSU
And a loss by 2 TDs to #37

Many teams in recent memory look like more of a lock to repeat than Ohio state does at this point. 2016 Bama comes to mind as does 2023 Georgia (3 peating) off top of my head. And neither team did.
If they were beating top 15 teams week in and week out than I’d be inclined to agree but they aren’t and we’re not even at the halfway point of the year.

Ohio St plays 7 teams ranked higher #50.
Alabama plays 2 teams such teams, and one of them is shared with Ohio St - Wisconsin.
10 of Alabama's opponents are in the top40, 6 of them in the top25.
Again, the Ohio St schedule is weaker than all 16 SEC teams.
