All kidding aside, AU is a HUGE rivalry. It's not just a rivalry, it's THE rivalry.

I don't care for the he said she said crap between BAMA and AU anymore. Sure, I take a little jab at them here and there because that's part of the fun, but I don't concern myself with the off the field garbage and myths anymore. Truth be told, I did at one time.

Most of what AU fans say about Alabama is contrived and ridiculous. Most of what Alabama fans say about AU is overblown and trying to take credit from "little brother". Both have had their times of failure and cheating, and I'm sure both still do, to whatever degree, along with every other major program. I wish everyone would move on from this type of foolishness. The rivalry would be better for it.

I think it goes without saying that AU is a good program and Alabama is a great one. It's been a good run by both teams lately and it has made for some compelling stories and great competitive football.

I don't mean to sound like I love me some AU or anything, I pull against them as much as any other Bammer. However, I do respect them, and I never stoop so low as to hate people because of their college affiliations or colors. That's just absurd imo.

Anyway, my .02.

Questions to Bama Fan (OP):

Does Bama have any rivalries? Princeton maybe? If Auburn is not a rival then who is? UT? (AU-UGA is a rivalry, but so is AU-UA)

The problem with Bama is how they count NC, they have a lot more than any other SEC team. This site shows Bama with 16 and Auburn with 3. Only Bama sites and BAMMER fans use different metrics to measure Bama and other schools. Non-Biased NC List (Shows LSU/Tenn with 4, Auburn/Florida with 3, UGA/Ole Miss/TAMU with 2.)

So Bama has no rivals?????????????
