It's not a mental block so much as Bama just kicking the shite out of Georgia ALMOST every time they meet.

Keyword is capitalized. Kirbs spanked that bottom until it was Crimson this year.

DeBoer is a good coach in the wrong place.Just like BK,MM at LSU things just didn’t click.Nobody knows about Golding .Running a football PROGRAM is different than coaching on gameday. When a coach is responsible for the whole 9 yards the pressure is on.Lets see how he does.

Since you brought that up. I would say the same for Kiffin at LSU. The pressure is on kiffin too.

I agree with the posters that Deboer is just a poor fit at Bama. It will be interesting to watch how Golding does without CWJ.

What will be the offensive identity? Can he manage a program? There is a lot of wait and see.

We brought in a former Co-OC who seemed to be doing pretty well for himself the last few seasons building his own offense. Very similar offensive identity.

It’s a dumb question.

When has Golding built a team & coaching staff from start to finish?

Coaching a team that Lane Kiffin and Billy Glasscock built for two games is not putting a program together and coaching it for a couple games.

Not really a great argument to make when Deboer inherited a Nick Saban program.

Deboer actually has track record as a head coach doing a great job building up Fresno State and taking Washington to the playoffs before being hired by Alabama.

Golding has been a head coach for literally 3 months.

Give Golding at a minimum 5 years before you judge him as a head coach.

You’re not wrong. There will be a ton of pressure on Kiffin. Apparently the Governor will get involved.

Alabama is 2-1 against Georgia under DeBoer.

Also, Georgia only won that SEC championship game because half the Alabama roster was injured.

So I guess UGA isn’t a SEC program? (Or is it that you can’t handle your liquor?) Put the pipe down.

It remains to be seen. DeBoer has more of a track record as a HC obviously than Golding. I didn't and still don't believe Deboer is a good fit at Alabama. I have a bet with an Alabama friend that he won't last 4 yrs and I am confident in that bet after what I've seen. Saban has said good things to about Golding. We'll see.
