A "bama" fan. Of course.

Louisiana and Alabama virtually have the same comparison with GDP, Unemployment, poverty rate, etc.

Maybe look in the mirror.

Since Saban? In my opinion, yes.

We will be able to fully use the talent we recruit because we actually have a well run program.

Well that certainly explains why there are threads constantly from Alabama fans wanting to flee the state. Oh wait...

There is no probably about it. Kelly was a great pull for LSU. ND had to pull a certain type athlete. LSU recruits athletes. He will be dangerous there.

We picked up the top recruit in Minnesota and Maryland in one weekend. If we get pipeline into the frozen north and NE, added with our own typical target pool we could suddenly become very dangerous.

Saban Miles and especially Orgeron never won at the highest level before they came to LSU. Kelly has a better resume than all 3.

On paper, yes he has the best resume of any LSU football hire without question. If you look at the resumes at the time of hires going back through history, I don’t think that even really debatable. LSU has never hired notably accomplished coaches really ever. Miles probably had the next best resume and his wasn’t anything to write home about at OSU. Will Kelly end up winning at an elite level? Time will tell

At the point in his career where he was hired, as compared to every football coach that LSU has ever hired, he is the most accomplished.

Hasn’t coached a single down at LSU.
Hasn’t landed a top recruiting class at LSU. Don’t have anything against him at all. I just withhold statements like that until the results are there.
We’ll say most accomplished resume at the time he was hired.
