Well that was extremely well thought out.
Les miles and O they a colossal waste of talent les more then O
If these to mental midgets can win a NC I have no doubt that CBK will win a NC or multiple NC's.
If the oline has a pulse this season I expect the Tigers to surprise a lot of folks.

Saban Miles and especially Orgeron never won at the highest level before they came to LSU. Kelly has a better resume than all 3.

Well.. Saban and Miles never killed anyone at least.

Brian Kelly AND his coaching staff are the best group of football minds ever assembled in Baton Rouge.

LSU will be back by end of October. My guess is they turn it around in Gainesville. Rough start, 7 of the 10 coaches on staff are new to BK and all 10 are new to each other. But the experience is there to get that train going quickly.

Also worth noting that Brian Kelly was 60 when he took the LSU job.

Nick Saban was 48.
Les Miles was 51.
Ed Orgeron was 55.

Kelly had his first HC job in 1991.
I know Saban was the HC at Toledo in 1990, but he didn't stick in an HC position until 1995.
Miles in 2001.
Orgeron started pretending to be an HC in 2005.

It's not surprising. He's a solid coach but he fricked up a lot of things on the recruiting front at ND. He wasn't even a bad recruiter, he was just lazy and out to lunch at times. Zeke Elliott, Jordan Addison, and Curtis Samuel all wanted to come to ND but Kelly and his staff wanted them to play defense, which was the one hold up. He never offered Irv Smith Jr., who was a legacy and had the grades to get into ND. Numerous commits and targets in the 2023 class have said that Kelly didn't pay them much attention and one of them, a top 75 recruit, even said Kelly didn't know his name while on a visit.

Travis Kelce
Kyle Rudolph
Tyler Eifert
Kole Kmet

another poster on this board said that of the 30 Notre Dame coaches so far, Kelly's winning pct ranks him #15.

I hope so.

The last 3 LSU head football coaches before him each won a national championship, so you can't really compare until he develops his own track record...

So what that boils down to is Benson disregarded LSU's history at being the best program in the SEC to develop wide receivers just because of a gaffe.

OK.

You may be right, because unless I miscounted, this Notre Dame websight lists him #16

0-2 since the orangutan came up with that one liner. It'll be 0-3 this fall.
