And ironically, thanks to Nick Saban's massive success at Alabama, which is admittedly the bane of too many many LSU fans' existence, nobody considers that 03 title a split anymore unless they root for USC, or want to talk down the BCS.

That was a decade ago and certain people move on. U.S.C. won a title the next year decisively and participated in a revered matchup with Texas following the 2005 season.
The formula was changed after the 2003 season. Oklahoma was blown out in their conference championship game but didn't fall from their #1 spot. The appropriate title game matchup would have been LSU vs U.S.C.

All I've taken from this thread is that the Auburn fanbase is butthurt by the fact that LSU has beaten them 3 times in a row and seeks validation in the fact that their run, subjectively, is better.

Sad really.

Sad really.
2 Auburn posters = entire fanbase.

Brilliant.

Most of us are booking flights and hotels in Cali. I don't give a shite about LSU or this comparison.

Great post.

You wanna look at average salaries? Or ticket prices to Glendale in 2010?

You guys still not sell out your bowl game for the, what?, second year in a row?

So far UA's title run only contains 2 SEC Titles, 1NC, 2 NC game appearances

LSU's has 3 SEC Titles, 2 NC, 3 NC game appearances.

I have literally forgotten what it was like to lose to Auburn

Then I can't imagine how far back into the recesses of your memory you have to go to remember what it's like to cheer for a championship football team.

Your making fun of us with 2 losses when you have that UGA game on your resume this year?

The game we won?

hell I didn't have a seconds worry this year during the Auburn game.

And Ole Miss didn't have a seconds worry against LSU.

Oh yeah and we will be better the next 2 years and counting.

Yea the league is terrified of the Anthony Jennings w/o Landry and Beckham show.

You guys are acting like your Bama or something.

Nope, we're better.

I wouldn't waste my money on those average teams in meaningless bowl games either. Maybe LSU fans are smarter than we are giving them credit for?

Why do you care which run is better?

Obviously, LSU has been more dominate since 2000, but they weren't this year.

35-21 Hill still running...Id say LSU was more dominant when facing Auburn.

Alabama is at the top the last 10 years, 3 NC (2009, 2011, 2012), 2 SEC...

LSU has 2 SEC and 1 NC

Auburn has 3 SEC, 1 NC (2010) and two second place finishes (2004 and 2013)...

We were unlucky in 2004, no complaints about 2013...
